Wesley tilted his head, not looking at all surprised. "One moment." He mumbled, going into the tack room again. Wesley fixed his eyes on a dark thing that was covered with a blanket about eight feet up on the wall, having to hop a little and skillfully grabbing it off of the shelf. Wesley brought it out and took off the blanket, revealing a beautiful light brown English saddle decorated with light blue swirls and crosses like everything else. "Will this work?" He asked with a slight smile, setting it down and grabbing an English bridle as well. "No, I do not ride English, but my sister used to... technically Misty isn't my horse, she is my sister's, but when my sister left she gave Misty and all the tack for Misty to me." Wesley explained, a slight look of sadness coming into his eyes at the mention of his sister. That obviously held some memories. When Ella spoke again Wesley looked up and listened, his face softening slightly. "It's perfectly fine.. it is quite different here. I'm sure all those men, including me, can be a bit overwhelming... but I promise you all of them just like to have fun. They never mean any harm." He said quietly, tightening the cinch on the big grey stallion he had thrown a saddle on.

Ella felt a bit bad as a faint look of sadness came across Wesley's eyes, kind of like she'd made that happen, and forced herself to smile, trying her best to be polite. It was hard. When she was scared, she was..rude. Mean, to cover up the look of weakness.

"Oh right. Well, thank you..for getting the english saddle I mean. I appreciate it." She ran her hand along the saddle in surprise, looking at e piece of tack like it was a prixed possession. She'd never seen tack that wasnt polished black and honestly, she liked it.

She nodded as Wesley made his comments about the others, and stood her ground as she opened her mouth to tell him what happened. What did it matter if he knew? If it was spread round here, it was spread round. She had a room t hide in, right?

Her heart started racing as she started her sentece.

" I guess..Its just. I was, attacked. When I was 14, my mare spooked at a speeding truck, the guy got mad, got out and pulled me off the horse. Then he just..went for me. I just thoght I'd let you know. Incase you, you know..wondered about anything." Her voice trailed off, knowing she had messed up, and she set to work on grooming the mare to try and avert any attention.

Wesley nodded curtly. "It was my pleasure." He answered, patting West's neck and starting to pick his hooves. When Ella went to say something Wesley stood and listened, his brow furrowing as she finished. "That... is terrible. Obviously that guy was not raised on a ranch. Anyone here would hear that story and be appalled, because they would never even think of doing anything like that. They are happy, outgoing, easy guys and their whose lives are about cattle, making jokes, and fooling around. They would never lay a hand on you. You'll see, the longer you are here, the more you will be accepted into the group. I apologize if you do not appreciate unnecessary teasing because that is a small price they will make you pay, friend or not." Wesley chuckled slightly, then went back to picking hooves.

Ella nodded, relieved she didn't have to experience the stupid ahhh poor girl, ohh poor you, im so sorry that she had to experienvce whenever she told anyone about the incident. Instead, he acknowledged it, said some useful, rather true words, and moved onto explaining about the other guys.

The explanation of them had helped her calm a little. Maybe they werent so bad after all? Still, she had no trust left in her, and certainly was not prepared to let her guard down for anyone.

"I'm glad..I think." She let out a small laugh and finished off the grooming, before checking the mares rather clean hooves, and moving onto the saddle, hauling it (with all her might) onto Mistys back.

Wesley finished getting West all ready and slipped the black Western bridle on, leading the stallion out of the stall and leaving him standing in the aisle. The horse just stood there with his eyes closed, not tied to anything but not moving. "Such a cow horse." Wesley mumbled under his breath before turning to Ella. "You ready?" He asked, taking a moment to grab a brush and untangle West's tail. After that was done Wesley led the horse out and draped West's reins over a hitching post, not bothering to tie the stallion but instead leaving him there and walking back in. He had done this so the aisle wasn't quite as crowded with the 18 hh gentle giant in it.

Ella nodded, her heart pretty much racing now. As calm as Misty looked, and as friendly as Wesley looked, if anything went wrong she knew she'd be doomed. It had always been the same two things. From being embarrased to being incredibly rude as self defense, or gaslighting people into thinking it never happened, into thinking it just wasnt real. Neither of those things woud go down well here.

She copied Wesley, leading out Misty rather gently, staring at the dark golden bucksin. She really was a gorgeous horse, and while she was only used to her familys homebred, black army of horses, she was happy for a change.

After Ella came out Wesley mounted the tall stallion easily, sitting gently in the saddle and looking quite comfortable. That made sense, because he spent more time in the saddle than he did anywhere else. He was always riding somewhere... to get cows, to drive cows, to get cows out, to get cows in, to go retrieve an injured cow... and on. "Ready?" He asked, nudging West and waiting as the stallion started moving quite slowly. "West, a snail could beat you. Come on." Wesley mumbled under his breath, but the stallion stayed at the same speed.

Ella nodded again and nudged Misty on. To her surprise, the big mare seemed to have a rather calm but fresh walk. She didnt act up right away, and seemed quite complient with having a new person on her back. As they walked, she made sure to keep her hands light, and posture straight, not knowing how sensitive Misty was. She looked over at Wesley, who seemed to be going quite slow, and pulled on the reins slightly to slow her own mare down. "Where are we going/" She asked, figuring it was best to ask seeing as, at least for now, West seemed to be struggling to keep up. Still though, it wasnt like Misty was exactly the fastes walker.

Wesley urged West forward till he was actually walking nicely, the same speed as Misty. He glanced at Ella, pleased with how gentle her hands seemed to be. -at least she knows how to ride- Wesley thought thankfully, glad he wasn't putting a beginner on his precious mare. "To the river about 5 miles away." Wesley answered, letting West's head swing back and forth with his big walk. (Sorry a bit short, i gtg)

Ella nodded, no answer given giving she didnt know what to say. She just simply enjoyed the ride, the calm, slick walk of Misty, and the rather complimenting sight of the countryside. Sounds pf screeching tyres, loud cars and bustling city noies travelled through her head as they rode, and she did her best to shut them out, and actually enjoy the sound of nature.

Whilst she had nearly no complaints about being here, she couldnt help but miss the city life, a lot. How modern everything was, how fast going everything was, how busy it was. Here, it seemed to be the opposite.

Ella clicked Misty on slightly as she seemed to fall back for a second slightly, and when she had caught up with Wesley, spoke.

"Would the others not find it..strange Im riding English?"
