Charles's gaze shifted towards the doctor as he spoke and his eyes widened. "Why on earth would he want me to drink that," he questions, "and are you sure it's poison? Couldn't it be something close to the root but not it?"

"I-I don't know why I I am sorry I disturbed you I you allow I shall take my leave " he said without answering his questions

Charles let out a sigh before turning to look straight at the man. "Beau," he says in a more stern tone, "are you sure that this vile my father gave you to give to me is poison?"

"I-I pretty sure but if you want I can run it through with the alchemists , to be certain " Beau said trying to look at the prince .

Charles nodded, "Do that then. I want to be sure of it before I confront him myself."

Yes , your Highness , right away your Highness " Beau said before turning away to walk out the door , suddenly the small vial slipped from his hands and fell to the floor shattering. The floor started to sizzle , green and purple smoke rising from the spot where the vial smashed

He nodded as he watched Beau go to leave before watching the vile shatter on the floor. Charles quickly leaped forward and pulled Beau away from the spot as he watched the smoke rise. After a moment he grabbed a cloth and fanned the smoke away along with beating down any small fires that were trying to start, continuing this until there was just a small hole in his floor. "So I guess that was acid then," he comments after another few silent moments as he inspects the hole.

"I'm sorry your Highness " he said " Thankyou for grabbing me , your Highness " Beau said taking the cloth from Prince Charles , "I'll see to this being cleaned and repaired " he said walking off

"It was no problem," Charles says as he watches Beau leave. He then waits a few moments before calling one of the maids over and telling them to go get his royal advisor.

Beau walked into the great hall and looked around. He sighed as he waved one of the maids over " Cara , there has been a poison spill in His Highness's bedchambers , we need a new board in the floor , and a scent placed to get rid off the smell " Beau said as the maid hurried towards him " If I might ask , why was there poison in the Prince's bedchambers " Cara asked curiously " If you want to know then you should ask His Highness" Beau said walking away dismissively .
