09:15:29 Fawn I know they can be known to go on hunger strikes occasionally but the only time he ever did that was when we had him sexed just to confirm he was male by our vet. He's been good since and will even eat when he's in shed |
09:15:13 Hummer Besides, I feel like I would rather put the money I would be using to buy Breyer's towards something else, like reptiles or Horseback riding. |
09:14:21 Granny C I had the grey Arabian stallion, from back in the late 60's. But it got broken and I never found a replacement. |
09:14:16 The Brindle Princess 09:13:39 Stormy lol if your talking about breyers i havre an unheathy amount and i have like 20-30 costom modles at my moms house <3 |
09:13:37 Hummer @Fawn, mind if I PM you about care? |
09:13:26 Hummer I am sad to part with them, but at the same time they are just sitting in my spare room because I have no space so I never see them. |
09:13:21 Fawn They're pretty laid back and easy to handle. I've had my boy for almost 3 years now and he's super docile |
09:12:34 Hummer @Granny, actually no. The ones that are worth a lot are from the 2023 Premier Club. I pretty much just want the money back that I bought them for which seems pretty fair to me. |
09:11:50 Fawn We have a banana mojave ghost and a normal pied <3 Looking to get a female with at least 3 morphs with at least one being mojave so we could breed some blue eyed lucys down the road |
09:11:44 Granny C Hummer - oh cool I would guess some are pretty old then. |
09:10:31 Hummer I also assume you were talking about my Breyers and not ball pythons. XD Because I don't have any of those. |
09:10:03 Hummer @Granny, just 11, but some of them are worth over $200. |
09:09:39 Hummer @Fawn, do you like their personality? How would you describe it based on your personal experience? |
09:09:36 Granny C Hummer - how many do you have ? |
09:09:06 Chey DD I am attempting to breed RID on this account. It is going pretty good except for the fact that the only color I can get is Chanpagne XD |
09:09:04 Hummer @Fawn, just hoping I can afford a setup in the first place. XD
I would love a pied though. |
09:08:42 Fawn Oooh Hummer what morph are you looking at? I have 2 balls myself and going to be getting a third one next year |

. Teo | 7 Years Old | Stallion | 18H | M: Yuka, Gaia, & Fawn . Teo had turned back towards the young silver mare once more when he realized that she had not joined them yet, only to just in time see her tongue stcuk to the ice and her hoof come crashing down with a squeal. The older mare's chuckle rang through his audits, and he himself had to smile. In the sunlight, he could truly see her condition, and it made his smile faulter. He realized that she truly would have died last night if he hadn't have helped her. Perhaps, he was getting better. He allowed himself to breath out a small breath he had been holding before finding himself turning to listen to the buckin's words. . "Hmm, as have I but I suppose I don't come out this far too often. Truthfully, this late in the season I'm at the coast for the winter." He smiled. They both faced the filly once more, but Teo watched as the older mare apporached her. The stallion hung back, figuring a mare was less posing of an intimidating threat than he would be towering over her. He allowed his audits to push forward, clinging to their words as if he were included in the conversation. . He noticed as another horse came from the same direction the buckin had. She looked much younger, so he assumed this must have been the daughter that she had spoken of. Teo dipped his head in her direction as she passed by, her striking red coat stood out radiantly against the white landscape that found themselves in. . Teo slowly walked over to the group of mares as his name was inquired. He picked up his posture just a little as he joined them, exchanging glances and smiles with each of them, but still keeping his distance out of respect. "My name is Teo." He informed them. "It's nice to meet you."

|Yuka|5yrs|Mare|15hh| M: Teo, Gaia & Fawn The silver mare paused just a few steps short of the two horses. She felt very weary of her appearance and was rather embarrassed by it, light pink coloration flustered her cheeks as she could feel eyes on her the closer she got. She kept her hues on the ground watching her feet mostly as she stiffly approached. Audits pinned shyly for a moment, she tried to remind herself to keep calm and ease her shaking breath, for she didn't know them and wasn't sure what to expect. What if this was his mate? Probably wouldn't blow over well for the stud that he had another in his cave. Nostrils flared big, as she tried to shake off her stress with a flick of her plumage. She rose her frame, glancing quickly to the stud before locking her sights on the buckskin mare pacing closer. Of course, a mare wasn't really a problem for Yuka, since she grew up with sisters, but then again she knew to not let all her gaurds down. Audits went forward at the mares questions. She could feel the concern in the mares voice, by looks she was an older mare and seemed very wise and gentle as Yuka's hues studied the mares movements.
The silver mare wasn't used to so many questions or having much conversation with others, not in a long while but figured by her body appearance from this winter she'd get more questions thrown her way. "umm" was all the mare could get out before she swallowed hard, as her hues traveled between the mare and the stud that seemed to be giving space. She closed her eyes for a moment, glancing back to the mare. "Yes.. I am quiet alright" as she nervously pawed a hoof, another flick of her plumage 'calm down' her mind echoed. "Yea, I'm not from around here at all I am afraid" her frame rose more at a more normal stance as she looked back down the river, she halfway made a laugh "Ha, infact I have no idea where I am... I'm orginally from the Jungle region but.. it's been some time since I have been there.. my family and I reached the mountains when winter hit, I believe east?" her hues still seemed to be taking in the surroundings as she spoke. "My father and sisters.." but her voice went quiet when she heard another's voice breaking the conversation.
Frame shot to a mare that stood a few feet behind the buckskin. Audits perked some in alert, blue hues took in the radiant red colors beaming from the mare who look maybe around her same age. 'Mother?' she pondered. She softly blew air from her nostrils either this was their daughter or this stallion seemed to be a really good chick magnetic. Yuka softly eyed the stallion in the corner of her orbs that was to her left to see if he had moved, but he had not. Glancing towards the chestnut mare that now approached the buckskins side. Yuka found herself adjusting her eyes to the ground. She could feel her pelt itching from all the awkward and unwanted attention. Here she stood between three healthy horses and she was nothing but dust in the wind. Another flick of her plumage released more of her stress, for a brief moment she thought about fleeing before the mare spoke again.
Yuka seemed to freeze some when the stallion drew closer, not because he scared her but she kept her hues on the ground. If she had to fight him she would, even in her horrid state. Audits swivled at the words exchanged between the mother/daughter duo. 'Who's your company' so they didn't know eachother Yuka thought. Her blue hues looked up and drifted to the stallion with almost a raised brow as he spoke his name. "Yuka" she nickered softly, drawing her orbs back to the mares. Though, she saw the stallion offer smiles, she didn't really offer one back this time or to anyone for that as she stood there trying to push what weight she had left into her hooves, trying to focus on anything to keep her from seeming rude or give away any signs of wanting to flee or being uncomfortable. She hoped she was playing it off smoothly. Edited at May 22, 2024 11:13 PM by Whispering Wood Barn

Sorry it's short! Gaia | 12 years old | Mare | 16H | Sooty buckskin appy | M: Teo & Yuka Fawn | 6 years old | Mare | 15H | Chestnut blanket appy "And it is lovely to meet you both," Fawn replied her gaze moving across the mare and stallion. Gaia nodded in agreement giving them both soft smiles. She could tell the silver mare was not used to having this many unfamiliar horses around her so she took a few steps back to give her some room, slightly tapping Fawn so she would do the same. "My name is Gaia, and this is my daughter Fawn. We've been here in the mountains for...well how long has it been now?" the buckskin looked at her daughter. "Almost five and half years now," Fawn replied before turning to give the stallion a once over. He was handsome she would give him that, and tall. Definitely the tallest horse she had ever come across out here on the range. "Yes, hard to believe it's been that long." Gaia nodded before turning her attention back Yuka. "You mentioned a family? A father and sisters. Do you need help getting back to them? Are they alright?"

No Worries! ^^) |Yuka|5yrs|Mare|15hh| M: Teo, Gaia & Fawn Slender audits swilved towards the mares as they spoke, standing there quietly though her attention seemed to drift in and out as her hues paced between the ground and the mares, clearly stuck in her thoughts. Upon hearing their names, her audits perked and her orbs floated towards their faces, Yuka softly offered a smile in return with a small dip to the red mare whom said she was glad to of met her. Though, she didn't overlook how the firey mare glanced at the stallion, she gave a descreeted roll of her hues. Yuka wasn't really one for much romance, she had always been too focused on making sure her family survived then to even think about how she'd feel about a stallion, if one ever captured her attention long enough or simply for the fact maybe she couldn't tell if one ever did like her.
Snorting softly as she brushed her muzzle at an itch on her leg, before an audit flicked towards the buckskin mare. "Oh... I mean.. I'm not sure.. I could probably figure it out" Yuka nickered trying to sound confident in that answer as her plaumage swished behind her. "I'm not sure.. I left them in a cave somewhere east, I.. me and my older sister sorta had a fight, I went out to try and find food for them, my father has a bad leg" she sighed deeply closing her orbs as she felt tightness stirring again in her chest. Pinning her audits in some frustraion at herself before she shook her frame and forced another smile "Perhaps, if you could tell me which way is east?" Yuka honestly had no idea if her family made it through the storm or not without her there to provide for them. She figured they'd hide away and die of starvation, that or Yuni might of convinced Tara to leave their father behind in the cave upon today's weather. The silver mare seemed lost in her thoughts and wondering as she eyed the stallion once more, for it was strange to her to encounter such a quiet stud, she wonder if she should be concerned or greatful or perphaps cautious. Audits swilved as a small gust of wind blew against her, shifting her weight to stand more comfortably. These horses seemed to be really nice, but she still couldn't get a good feel on them that was for sure, but she was greatful that they didn't seem to pick on her about her current body apperance. She felt herself starting to relax a bit more. Edited at May 23, 2024 07:38 PM by Whispering Wood Barn

Teo | 7 Years Old | Stallion | 18H | M: Everyone . Teo listened to the words exchanged by all the mares around him, periodically catching eyes on him to which he just exchanged polite smiles with. He couldn't help but feel slightly insecure. He stuck out like a sore thumb, if not for his assortment of colors, then for the simple fact that he towered above anyone he met. The nervous energy and stress felt by the lightest colored mare radiated off of her, and Teo couldnt't help but feel bad. As the three continued to speak, he allowed his frame, and mind, to slowly drift away from them, hoping to provide some space to give the youngest mare some peace of mind. . The dark stallion wandered back towards the river, pawing at the ice to reveal more grass beneath. This frozen peake reminded him of winters so many years before when he would walk the edges of the territory he minded with the aging lead stallion he thought of as a father, allowing the chilly air to pierce his numbed muzzle, and then expell into a hot cloud of air that occupied the space around him. He would regularly punch holes in the ice around the stream his herd regularly drank from, mostly for the elder horses and young ones who weren't capable of the strength needed to do so on their own. He always had done his best to rise early so he could return before his mate would wake. The thought of her dark form lifted a soft smile to his features. No matter how hard he tried, she's always be wide awake, waiting for him. Even all these years, he missed her greatly, but tried not to dwell on the feelings of the past. . He brought his attention back to present day, where Gaia was now asking Yuka about her family. Family? He had zoned out of nearly the entire conversation. He was coming to realize that there were enough horses on this mountain to create a small herd. The thought made in internally shudder. The last thing he wanted was to be apart of was another herd. More responibility. Teo tolled his orbs at the thought. He thought about leaving and just continuing on his journey east towards the coast. East ... wait, didn't the mare say her family was East? Teo sighed deeply, never suprised by his luck. If she truly believed that her unit was East, then to the stud's recollection, there weren't all that many caves as the mountainous terrain began to flatten towards the coastline. Over the years, he had probably taken refudge in nearly all of them. . For the meantime, Teo kept his thoughts to himself to see how it played out with the mares. If they offered to travel with her, then he would simply be on his way. But if she did indeed need help, he could extend his knowledge to help her home. It would only be a momentary journey ... right?

Sorry for the delay! Moved out of my apartment this weekend so had a lot of packing and driving to do! XD Gaia | 12 years old | Mare | 16H | Sooty buckskin appy | M: Everyone Fawn | 6 years old | Mare | 15H | Chestnut blanket appy Gaia nodded at the young mare's words as she cast a glance in Teo's direction. He seemed to perk back up near the end of the conversation but still hadn't said anything. "Well I don't claim to be an expert but I might be able to help your father out with his leg. Depending on the extent of the injury, I may know of some things that could help him," the buckskin mare glanced towards the direction of the rising sun. It was still decently early in the day and the sun had not yet fully risen. "This valley doesn't usually hold many dangers, but if you would like some company on your trip back to them we would be more than happy to help." Gaia glanced at Fawn realizing she hadn't fully asked the young mare if she wanted to join, but she found her daughter nodding alongside her. "We have supplies gathered back at our home that we could bring to help your family. Not just herbs, but food and bedding if needed as well," the sorrel smiled at the silver mare, her red and white tail flicking against her sides. She also flicked her gaze towards the stallion for a brief second, cocking her head slightly to the side as if she didn't know what to make of him. He was quiet, that was for sure, but obviously he had helped this mare prior to their meeting. "And what might be your take on this situation, sir?"

Hey, it's all good! Hope everything went smoothly and you're settled! ) . Teo | 7 Years Old | Stallion | 18H | M: Fawn, Yuka, & Gaia His black audits caught the words of the younger mare as she addressed him. He leaned his weight back on his hind end as he absorbed what she was asking. What was he supposed to make of the situation? "Well, there are not that many caves to hide in towards the east, so if they are holed up in one of them, you could probably find them before evening." He stole a glance towards Yuka. "And I don't think it would be a bad idea to bring supplies," he added, trying not to sound harsh. The poor thing couldn't help that the winter had been fierce and unlike any that the jungle region she was from would experience. . Something tugged at the stud's chest, urging him to help, if they would allow him. Perhaps it was just simply her poor condition, or maybe it was his kind nature, but he was finding it harder to focus on moving away from this group. As Gaia had mentioned, there weren't many predators in this area and the trio would be fine on their own ... but could he leave them be? He would be traveling in that direction anyway, would it hurt him to be a gentleman and help? No. "I can help bring some things along if you'd like." He was talking to the red mare, Fawn but also looked on to Gaia and Yuka as well.

|Yuka|5yrs|Mare|15hh| M: Everyone The silver mare's audits perked at the fact that someone would be so kind to try and help her father, she felt a warmness stir in her heart but shook it off, knowing her father wouldn't allow himself down enough to be more pittied apon. Sighing softly, as she seemed to rock back on her hooves "I appreciate that, but my father.." her blue hues looked away as shd stared down the river once more "I dont think his injury can be fixed, or that he'd let you" she furrowed her brows at the thought of her sire once more making her chest tighten. An audit flicked back as she heard the low tones of the stallion who began to speak. A bit shocked, she curiously turned her frame back towards the group, raising an eyebrow mysteriously as she tried to read the stallion 'huh so it does speak' she thought to herself. Her frame soon softened once again, "Oh?" Yuka nickered, her audits tingled at the fact they mentioned there wasn't much danger around here, it made her feel more comfortable in her current state but, she still wasn't sure if she could face her family after she walked out, but she knew it was the right thing to do. She needed to know if her sisters even were still alive. Her matted and tangled plumage swished at her back side once more, she offered them a smile "I don't know what to say except... thank you" she nickered. She was so used to doing everything alone, fixing things alone, just being alone. This was the first time in her life she ever experienced help, though she wasn't entirely sure she wanted it, but she would welcome it.
She drew herself closer to the waters once more, quinching her thrist, she didn't want to be rude but could feel her stomach seizing during their conversations. The cool waters rushed down her throat with ease, snorting softy as she noticed wild grasses that grew within the river, softly munching as much as she could, as quietly as she could, wading her two front hooves in slowly into the decent hole the stallion had made. Feeling the waters rush over her ankels, audits swivled before she lifted her frame, water dripping off her muzzle as she looked towards her company once more.
