Celeste Harlow - "Mm, I stopped aging at 18, but I am most definitely older than 23." she hummed aloud. Celeste didn't care if this boy knew she was a vampire, and if he decided to tell anyone, he'd just hafta kill him. No big deal. Celeste had been working for the Empress for exactly 52 years, and she had arrived at the Empress' palace gates only a year before. So she was most definetly older than 23, she just didn't know how long she had been alive before she arrived at the palace. Therefore, she couldn't even figure out how old she was. "You can sleep and do whatever you want, I don't really care" she said truthfully. Again her solution to if he was bothering or trying to do something to her, was threatening him, and if that didn't work, then killing him would be the solution.

Sage raised his eyebrows when she mentioned she stopped aging, and then nodded slowly. "So you're immortal," he noted quietly. "Then....what are you, exactly," he asked. He was honestly just curious. It wasn't often he met someone else who wasn't just....human. "if you don't want to say that's fine," he added quickly, knowing if she hadn't mentioned anything he probably would never even think about telling her about himself. But if she told him, he might tell her. It may be nice to just say it to someone, get it off his chest. Acknowledge it without it being in a negative light. Though he nodded when she said he could stay and let out a breath of relief. "Thanks," he mused quietly, a sudden wave of tiredness washing over him as he stayed in the chair. "I really do appreciate all of this," he added with a sort of sigh, a light blush forming on his face. He didn't often thank people ...he was normally in the position to curse at them or suffer what they were doing or saying silently...so it was a bit odd to be thanking someone.

Celeste Harlow - Celestes eyes never left her nails all thoughout their conversation. They where now sharper than needles, so if she happed to need to use them, she had a weapon ready and availible. "Yup, I'm a Vampire" she said simply and evenly. Celeste always found it easy to share personal things with strangers. She was never taught to keep things to herself, other than the vampire underworld secrets, and wasn't generally embarrased by anything either. She assumed she was this way because she could always just kill whoever she told if they ever learned too much. "Some tell me I'm something more, as I am more powerful than the average vampire, and the fact that I need to sleep. But I don't really know, as I don't remember my parents or where I came from." she said aloud. "Yeah, of course" she said in response to his thanks. Celeste still had no reason to be rude or menacing to the boy, so she was still being polite. And for the first time since their conversation had fully started, she glanced over at the boy, and notice blood had rushed to his cheeks and colored them now. Why though? Oh... was he gonna be another one of those hopeless romantic boys who would follow her around now? He didn't seem like the type, and Celeste assumed he had a wife, as he had a child so, probably not, Celeste answered her own question in her head. But then why was he blushing?

Sage hummed lightly in response to her comment, nodding when she told him what she was. "so if I wake up groggy tomorrow I'll know who to blame," he teased lightly, hoping she'd take it as the joke it was and nothing more. "well, I couldn't tell you what you are or why things happen the way they do," he noted after her next comment. "I mean....I'm a werewolf and we see how far that's gotten me," he snorted. His blush had faded after a moment or so, especially once she'd seemed to not care if he'd thanked her or not. Of course ...he felt odd just passing out in her room, but he did wish they could just...sleep. "speaking of sleep, don't stay up because I'm here. I'll just pass out whenever," he noted with a shrug.

Celeste Harlow - Celeste nodded, "Yeah, thats no surprise, no one can answer those questions." she said looking back at her nails after he'd stopped blushing. Oh so he wasn't human! Ok, that made more sense that he was a werewolf. Celeste had only ever smelled a werewolf once before, and now that she thought of it the boy's smell and the werewolf smell matched up almost exactly. Musky, savory and dirty with just a hint of sweet."Well you aren't looking in the right spot for work. Your in a terrible position right now. Thankfully I somehow found my way straight to my profession." she said, offering the boy a bit of advice. Celeste nodded and checked the time, it was getting quite late. "Yeah, it is getting late, I should sleep soon as well." she agreed.

Sage chuckled softly in response to her first comment then shrugged when she mentioned the spot he was in. "It's all I could get," he noted. "The people around here don't think highly of us. Creatures, I mean," he warned her, pinching his lips together. "I wound up having to sleep with the lady in charge of the guy running this place to even get her to think about hiring a 'foul beast of an animal', as she put it," he snorted. "They finally agreed to it since they can get away with paying pennies. Saves them more money," he mused. "But it's better than nothing, and I'm not exactly in a position to change that," he sighed, nodding when she said she should sleep. - It wasn't long after that they'd both fallen asleep...well it was more like he passed out once he knew she was getting into bed and closed his eyes, but whatever. He was up with the sun the next morning, having to get down to work. He slipped out quietly, not wanting to wake the girl, who was still sleeping peacefully. He was grateful to her....he really was. So he figured he'd leave her in peace. Soon enough the tavern was open though, and he was running around again. He felt much better after a decent night's rest, though.

Celeste Harlow - Celeste chuckled a bit, he obviously wasn't understanding her. "Then you obviously haven't considered the underworld. People are always looking for more assasins, especially mythical, strong creatures like ourselves." she finished. - Celeste had changed and crawlen under the thin covers, turning her back to the boy, and immediately decending into sleep. When she woke, the sun was glinting through her window, making it very aparent how dirty the tavern really was. When she sat up, she found that the boy was already gone. Oh well.

Sage cocked his head slightly, considering the option. "The underworld," he repeated. "How would that work with a human family," he pointed out. It probably wouldn't...and he wasn't going to leave them behind. - Sage hoped the girl had slept well ...when he didn't see her emergency from her room for a while after he'd left, he figured she'd slept just fine. No doubt it would have been more enjoyable for her if he was better at his job...which he felt slightly bad about, but still. He noticed her come out eventually, but was busy dealing with a customer at the time, so he didn't have time to go say hello. And he wasn't sure she'd even want him to.

Celeste Harlow - Celeste actually had to think about it for a moement. "Hm, it probably wouldn't. I'd maybe wait until your daughter grows up, and then maybe I'd start looking at the mafia first. They tend to hire pretty much anyone, but the work is pretty boring compared to some of the mythical underworld societies." she said finally. - Celeste got out of bed quickly and changed into a white cropped tanktop, a black mini skirt, and a black and white plaid flannel shirt over the top, that she left unbuttoned. She finished the rest of her morning routine before going downstairs. Her pink hair was up in two thick dutch braids, that hung over her shoulders, ending at her hips, and she wore the same black heels as she did last night. She walked over to the bar and took a spot on a barstool, waiting for her server. She hoped they served coffee here, cause she surely needed some. Celeste spotted the boy who she had met last night serving a customer, and without thinking a smile immediately wedged its way onto her lips. She hoped he would come say hi, he was very nice compared to the other people she knew.

Sage had thought about what's she'd said the night before as he watched her sit down at the stool. A mafia could work...but he wouldn't want to endanger his daughter being in an environment like that. Whatever, he had to force it out of his mind when he nearly messed up an order. He was ask to fix it, but it cost him time she didn't really have, and drunk customers weren't the nicest ones. - When he noticed that girl sit down at the bar, he finished up what he was doing before moving back over to the kitchen and then in her direction. "How do you like your coffee, then? Black as your soul," he joked lightly, handing a drink to the person nearby and waiting for her response with a cocked head. He felt much better than before....maybe that's why he was so perky today. Or...feeling normal? Whatever. He wasn't exhausted beyond reason, and it was nice.
