Kai came back over to her, taking her hands in his. "Everythings gonna be okay, okay?" He smiled gently. "I love you," he murmured, kissing her. He smiled at her before turning and beginning to take his clothes off. He was going to triple his size when he fully changed, and he didn't want to rip his clothes. He left his boxers on, as his mother was there, but they'd be shredded too. He stood about ten feet away from Cam and his mother, and took a deep breath, finding the dark magic deep within himself and summoning it.

Camery looked up at him as he took her hands, worry coursing through her with every moment. "I love you too," She kissed him back, but her stomach was already churning as she went to pick up the clothes he'd taken off, then went and stood next to his mother, chewing on her bottom lip nervously.

Kai summoned that power, letting it take control. Tendrils of shadow wrapped around him, his horns erupting from his skull, hands turning into talons. The lights flickered and went out, leaving everything dark, the only light coming in through the windows. The power took over, turning him into the beast that was depicted in the book. Kai took shape of the black dragon, nightmarishly terrifying, triple his normal size. Once it was complete, he turned to his mother and Cam, stalking towards them. He looked menacingly terrifying, but there was kindness and love in his big blue eyes. A low grumbly clicking sound emerged from his throat as he wasn't able to speak in this form.

Camery found herself stood close to her mother in law, clearly more than a little terrified about the whole thing... What was she meant to do? Could she help at all? The shadows filling the room were... well, they were horrifying. What could she do now? She looked away for a moment, although when she glanced back to him she couldn't help but gasp, her breath catching in her throat. She tried to stay still, tried not to do anything that'd scare him... but she didn't know how good of a job she was doing.

Kai lumbered over to her and laid down, rolling over onto his back, trying to let her know that he was still him and he wasn't gonna hurt her.

Camery watched him carefully got a little while before holding her breath as he walked over. She took half a step back, almost looking to the man's mother for help... surely she'd know what to do if he attacked them or... something. Her eyes widened when he just rolled over infront of her, not at all sure what was going on... but this was a lot calmer than she expected.

Kai just laid still, showing her he was still Kai, her husband, and he still loved her. He wasn't gonna hurt her. He tucked his talons towards himself so that she couldn't see them. Kais mother smiled, rubbing Cams shoulder gently.

Camery kept her eyes on him, only really risking a look over at his mother when a hand came to her shoulder. She knew she said she wanted to be there with him... and she did, but it was also just so terrifying. She loved Kai, but this... wasn't her husband. She didn't know what it was. Still, this wasn't as bad as she thought it was, and he wasn't hurting himself, so...

Kai let out a soft whine, laying still. Kais mother smiled gently. "He wants you," she said gently.

Camery almost looked zoned out as she watched him, a bit of fear of this strange... thing going on. She'd never expected this. He had to control it all, somehow. She nearly jumped at the sound of his mother, though, and her brows punched together. "He... Huh?" she asked nervously, sort of shifting her feet where she was stood.
