Rose listened to him and halfway didn't believe what he had said. "Are you saying....that we're done?" She asked quietly, hoping he was kidding or just needed to leave for a bit, go somewhere.

"Rose," He says,voice cracking.Caden took her hands again. "I'm not the one you fell in love with,I don't even know who I am.I'm not the happy one,not the one always making others and himself laugh,not the one you deserve.I,I don't know who I am anymore.A buissnessman I guess......I don't want to do this but,yes.For now,it'll be temporary,I promise.But please,it's for the better." He managed,voice wavering as he stared at the floor,not looking at her until he said the last few words.

Rose nodded slightly, her chest tight, as she walked to the bed

He followed her,laying beside her and wanting to hold her.

Rose turned away from him

Caden sighed,turning over and pulling out his phone.

Rose felt pain in her chest, she wanted for him to not be so worried and changed. She felt a single tear roll silently down her cheek as she closed her eyes

He eventually tried falling asleep,a tear sliding down his cheek before he fell under. "How about we don't break up but,I still focus on who I am?"

Rose had only vaguely heard him, already half asleep and falling into a nightmare. She turned around with a small sigh, trying to clear her head.

"It doesn't matter,it doesn't matter." He muttered,drfiting into a uneven sleep.
