He set the glass down,swalloeing the whiskey. "Inside the house or outside?" He asks again,his tone colder then it was. |

"Nevermind." He says,taking another sip and leaning on the counter. |

Rose put her hands in her sweatshirt pocket and watched him curiously like she'd done so many times before. She looked down, not wanting to upset him |

"So," He starts after a moment. "Why'd you leave?Were you just tired of me or something?" |

"No, of course not." She said, looking back up at him. "I just seemed to be making you upset and there was no purpose for me with you since you had work and everything, so I left. I was just simply taking away a distraction, a burden, from work and what you wanted to do" |

"You weren't doing anything wrong,you weren't a distraction.You weren't anything.You were Rose,you were my fianceé.And you just decided to leave,not try explaining,just left without telling me anything." Caden says,finishing the whiskey and looking into her eyes. |

"Don't start with the 'im sorry's.You don't owe me anything just....just try explaining next time,okay?" He asks,his tone just as sharp but eyes softer. |
