Kai was asleep, but Alora was awake. "Hey, how was your trip?" she whispered. Kai had finally fell asleep for once just about an hour ago after one hell of a meltdown. "Its been rough, this is his first time sleeping since you left," she sighed, getting up to properly speak with the woman.

Cam's eyes widened, her eyes on her husband who was still asleep. He looked exhausted. "It was... productive," she murmured softly. She looked over at the girl, her eyes soft. "Was he that bad?" She went to sort of sit carefully on the bed next to him, making sure to be quiet, not wanting to wake him up. She put a soft hand on his shoulder, her thumb running lightly along his skin in what she hoped was a comforting way.

Alora sighed and nodded, "Yeah... I stuck with him most of the time, just to make sure he wouldn't do anything stupid. But I couldn't force him to eat of sleep, all I could do was comfort,"

Camery furrowed her brows, and nodded slowly. That's all he needs. A bit iof love and comfort," she murmured. Soon, though, she sighed and gave the girl a look. "Thank you. I'm sure he appreciates it," she promised, giving her a small smile. "Go get some rest for now. I'm sure your new baby is driving you mad."

Alora nodded, "Of course, thank you," she smiled at the woman before slipping away to her baby.

Camery watched her go before going to get changed quietly. She soon settled back down next to Kai, her hand soft in his hair as she watched him. He looked... awful, really. He needed to eat something, and get some proper sleep and... god, her her being away really affected him that much? She just stared at him for a moment, her brows pinched tightly together.

Kai woke slowly, his brows knitting together. "Hmm..." he hummed, his eyes flicking open. "... cam?" She murmured, trying to figure out if he was dreaming. "Cam-" he breathed, beginning to cry again. He hugged her tight.

Camery sat quietly, sort of just watching the man for a little while. He looked so tired. Had he beed that upset? She knew she'd be back. There was no reason for him to panic like this. Although, when he woke up and she heard her name, gave gave him a small smile. "Yeah, i'm here," she whispered softly. She squeaked a little when he hugged onto her, and gave him a bit of a look after a few seconds. "Malakai, what's wrong?" She asked quickly, her arms squeezing him tight. "You knew i was coming back," she whispered.

"I dont know..." he cried. Hed known she'd be back soon, but he just panicked and his anxiety spiked, and it just got worse and worse.

Cam sighed and just shook her head. "I know, babe," she whispered, squeezing him tight. She'd never expected to come back to... this. It wasn't stable in the slightest. Hell, she'd even managed to come home earlier than expected. This wasn't normal, and she knew he struggled but it couldn't all be on her to ensure his happiness. "Hunny, I think we need to see someone about this. It's not..." she trailed off slightly, her brows pinching togethe.
