Sage continued to just crouch tensely in the corner, eyes fixed on the doors and windows and ears twitching in response to every little noise he could pick up. Which, in a town like this, was a lot.

Celeste continued to walk in circles around her children until morning.

Sage also stayed up the rest of the night, and nearly jumped out of his skin when the door opened the next morning. It was just Odessa, of course, but he half expected some horrible assassin

Celeste always held Att, clutching her baby close. She wasn't afraid when Odessa came in. She'd told her she was coming back from her trip, so she knew. "Oh, sorry," Odessa said cautiously stepping into the house.

Sage sort of groaned and shook his head, running his hands along his face. "Not your fault," he noted with a sigh. He'd known she's be back too, but he was just really keyed up still.

Celeste went over to him, taking his hand and squeezing it, hoping it would offer some type of calm.

Sage sort of glanced up at Celeste and leaned against her leg, as he was sitting down. It did help, though he was still tense.

A little later, Cassian entered, spooking Celeste before she also calmed down. "Hello, I have received your letter, and I am here to train with you," he said to Celeste.

Sage had also jumped when Cassian entered, but calmed when he realized who it was. Good....they still needed an army but, they were getting there. Slowly, but getting there.

Cassian explained to them that the Solarians had agreed to help them, but that they needed to train their army first to be prepared, so they sent Cassian to train with Celeste, and then he would train his army.
