Malakai Negri - Kai sobbed harder at her words. "I'm sorry... I didn't want to lie, but I had to... I'm sorry...." he sobbed. "Please... please, I can still be him... please... give me another chance, please... I love you, I love you so much..." he sobbed. "Please... I don't want to live without you... please..." his voice fading into barely a whisper.

Camery Valatieri - Camery watched him sob, then it turned into begging. She squeezed his hands slightly. "Malakai, stop," she murmured, her eyes softening. "It hurts to see you like this, and you're better than begging," she whispered to him. She put a soft hand onto his cheek. "Now, stop crying," she told him, wiping his face off with her sleve. "I know you didn't want to lie, and that you had to and you're sorry, but it still hurt," she went on, not trying to make him feel bad, but she was raised to work on respect. And, right now, she was loosing it for him. She didn't mind he was crying, she was glad he felt safe to be like this with her, but she didn't want him begging for her back. "I'll be here for you, as much as you like," she murmured softly. "But I can't be with you."

Malakai Negri - Malakai cried harder, all he wanted was her. She was the only thing he lived for. "Please baby... I need you..." he begged, looking straight into her eyes. "Please... I'll do anything..." he whispered, eyes full of desperation like a starved puppy being denied food. "I didn't want to lie, but I had to, to protect my siblings, wouldn't you do the same?"

Camery Valatieri - Camery felt her heart ache when he kept on trying. He looked like a child, those gorgeous blue eyes of him only seeing brighter in his red eyes. "Kai..." she whispered to him. She had to look away for a moment. He just cried harder. He looked so exhausted. She sighed softly to him, and ran a comforting hand up and down his back. He needed support, but she was still nervous of him. She couldn't tell him why. Eventually, though, his begging made her give in. "We can try," she whispered gently. They could try and start over. "But I promise you nothing," she murmured quietly. She nodded when he asked if she would do the same. "I would... but I wouldn't have gotten in a relationship. I wouldn't have let it go on as long as it did," she whispered carefully.

Malakai Negri - Malakai looked like he had just seen God himself. "Thank you, thank you so much..." he murmured, taking her hand and kissing the back of it and then each of her fingertips. He bowed to her, resting his head on her lap, his wings neatly folded on his back. "Thank you, princess..." he murmured. "I was stupid and in love... I wasn't going to let it go for too long, but then I got connected... but thats no excuse for what I did... I'm so sorry..." she murmured, keeping his head in her lap, looking up at her.

Camery Valatieri - Camery just watched him as he moved, his lips touching each of her fingers quickly. She didn't like this one bit. He threw a tantrum until she gave in, when all she wanted to do was help. Her eyes fell on his wings, the differences between them only reminding her of it all. She didn't love him, not now, but she could try and love him, at least for a little while longer. Try and get to know him like this, knowing who he really was. When he flopped down in her lap, she furrowed her brows, and automatically went to run her fingers through his hair. She didn't say anything, just trying to sit in the quiet. When he apologised, shook her head. "I get, it Malakai," she whispered. "Just... don't lie to me again."

Malakai Negri - Malakai nodded, looking up at her, with adoration in his eyes. "I will never lie to you again, I promise," he said honestly. "You know I will never break my promises,"

Camery Valatieri - Camery looked down at him as he gazed up at her, although she just looked defeated. She didn't know why she was doing all this to herself, it was scary. She sighed and ran her fingers along his jaw, memorising the bumps that went along with it. "Let's be clear, though. I am not yours. I am not your girlfriend. I don't promise to stay," she said quickly. "I will not be staying in a room with you, or making appearances at your side," she paused watching him, making sure he understood exactly what she was saying. "You don't get to announce to the public that we're together." She wrinkled her nose a little. "It all happens on my terms. All I'm promising is that I'll try and be with you," she huffed. She looked at the door, figuring they probably wouldn't be leaving at all. "And Jack stays," she added quickly.

Malakai Negri - Malakai sat up looking up at her with honest eyes. Kai nodded. "Of course, I know that," he said. Kai shook his head, "I would never announce that to the public, not without you telling me I could," "Okay, I can have a guest room made up for you, and I can have Jack in a room too, unless, you um- want him to stay with you," he agreed. Kai would do anything for her, anything she wanted.

Camery Valatieri - Camery nodded carefully once she'd made sure he understood everything. She would try and love him, the very best she could. She had before, right? She didn't know what had changed, but all she knew was that it was something. She hated that something. Something like this shouldn't have put her off, but it had, and she didn't know what to do about it. "Good." It was simple statement, just acknowledging him, she supposed. Her hand reached back to his face, her thumb trailing back along his cheek, wiping the last of the damp away. "And Malakai? Don't ever beg me for anything like that again," she muttered She glanced at the door, where Jack was probably stood the other side of. "It'll be the same situation. Jack will come and stay with me at night, as usual, but yes he'll need a room," she muttered. He'd probably be confused... but if this meant peace, and that Malakai would be okay, he'd eventually understand.
