"No." Caden replies quickly,muscles tensing at his coach's earlier and harsh critique.

Rose nodded, not believing him but leaving it alone. She finished her food and waited

Caden finished the sandwich and the last few sips of the liquor,setting the glass down and grabbing her hand as they paid and walked to the car.He drove them home and waited until she was inside,going to the trunk.He pulled out his bag and saw the bottle of pills ontop,almost empty.Caden sighed and buried them deeper into his bag,hiding the anxiety medication.He half zipped the bag and headed inside,dropping the bag and heading to shower.

Rose watched him, going and getting dressed into a fresh change of clothes. "I'm gonna head to the gym. Love you." She said, poking her head into the bathroom before darting out and driving to the gym

"Love you,be careful." He said through the steam,finishing and drying off before dressing in his boxers and sweatpants,putting BioFreeze on his still bruised but doing better chest.

Rose worked out at the gym, mostly doing bench, before heading home. She walked to Caden, smiling tiredly. "Hey." She said, kissing him

"Hey," He chirps,pulling her onto him and wincing silently,not caring.

Rose sat up, not touching his chest. "You hurt?" She asked skeptically, her eyes grazing over his chest
