Malakai Negri - Malakai nodded. "Okay," he agreed. Kai didn't like begging but he was desperate for her to stay. He still loved her. Always would. "Okay, we can do that," he nodded, not questioning what she was asking for. Whatever she wanted, she got. "Um, are you hungry? Do you want lunch?"

Camery Valatieri - Camery watched him for a moment, her eyes soft. He looked so... small. She sighed and gave a soft nod. He really just seemed to want her to stay. She sighed gently to him, standing up and offering him a careful hand. "Lunch would be nice," she replied to him. "And I need you to speak to my father, really speak to him," she whispered. She sighed, and went to get Jack, quickly explaining the whole situation to him. He looked... really concerned about the whole thing, which was fair enough. This man had begged and begged until she gave in, and it just seemed like so much pressue on the the girl.

Malakai Negri - Malakai nodded, "Okay," he'd figure out a way for her to get in contact with her father. Kai stood with her, letting her go out and explain things to Jack on her own before he exited too. Kai opened his mouth to say something but stopped short by the tug on his pant leg. He looked down to see his brother, Duncan half hiding behind Kai's legs. "Hey, bud, whats up?" Kai asked softly, taking Duncans tiny hand in his. "Are they... Day Kingdom?" Duncan squeaked quietly, scared of them. Kai nodded, picking Duncan up. "Yeah, they are, but they're nice. They're gonna stay with us for a little. As guests," Duncan looked at Camery and Jack. "Isn't she the princess?" he asked. Kai nodded, "She is the princess. Do you wanna say hi?" Duncan nodded and waved to Camery and Jack. "Hi..." he said quietly, clearly a little frightened by them.

Camery Valatieri - Camery explained things quickly, though Jack knew better than to ask too many questions. Camery wouldn't put herself in harms way, not intentionally. He sighed, crossing his arms and standing back, in his usual position. He really was in guard mode now, scanning everything and ensuring they were all safe. Camery watched the man for a moment, then looked back at Malakai when she noticed him. She smiled softly when the child came over, although he seemed nervous. That was fair, she was nervous too. When he greeted her, she hummed softly and sort of bent down so she was on his level. "Hi there," she chirped happily, a little smile spread across her face. "I'm Camery, what's your name?" She drawled her words out a little, trying to sound a friendly as possible.

Malakai Negri - Malakai smiled at the two of them, holding Duncan up as he talked with Camery. "I'm Duncan," he squeaked quietly, still a bit afraid of her, but warming up to her. Duncan was tiny for his age. Dirty blonde hair that would darken as he got older, and tiny little wings he didn't enjoy folding on his back, instead he liked to let them flutter and stretch.

Camery Valatieri - Camery watched the child squeak his name to her, a small smile spreading across her cheeks. She'd breifly seen this child before, when he was really young. Obviously, at the time, she would have thought nothing of him. She held a hand out for him to shake, her head cocked. "Well Duncan, it's nice to meet you," she chirped, keeping her voice soft. She stood up straight after a second, looking back at Malakai. "So, we were getting lunch?"

Duncan smiled softly at her. "Its nice to meet you too," Duncan squeaked. Malakai nodded, "Yep," he replied putting Duncan down. "Are you okay to eat with the rest of my family?"

Camery smiled at the boys response, glad to see a smile on his face. He was a cute kid... it was nice to see a happy boy here. She looked up at Malakai again, her eyes soft. "That should be alright," she replied quiely.

Malakai nodded and gave her a smile. Duncan held onto Kais hand as they all walked to the dining room. When they entered, the rest of his family, sitting at the table, froze, staring at Jack and Camery. "Guys, it's okay, they're nice. Cam and Jack are gonna stay with us for a bit," Kai informed his family. They relaxed a little, but not much. His mother, was sitting at the foot of the table, her black silky hair done up in a French twist, no crown adorned her head. His sister, Alora, sat next to his mother, her black silky hair, just like his mom's, draped down her back, all the way to her waist. Duncan let go of Kais hand and walked over to his seat beside Alora. There were two chairs and placesetting out across from Alora and Duncan, and Kais spot was at the head of the table.

Jack stuck close to Camerys side, standing over her protectively as he normally did. This was a strange place, and could admit he was a little nervous, despite his calm demeanour. If anything happened to her now, while he was meant to be watching her, that would be on him. Cam, though, just flashed a polite smile that had been trained into her from the start. It wasn't a friendly one by any means, just more like one that acknowledged they were there. When their seats were pointed out to them, she sighed gently before moving to settle down in the two spare seats, her hands lacing together as Jack sat next to her. This didn't feel relaxed at all... everyone but Kai seemed uptight.
