Faeler froze, "um...word one..yea..that one" he tried a small smile

Akira looked at him "That is a nice word. Maybe I could teach you some more" She offered with a warm smile

Faeler sighed, "yea ok..fine"

Once they reached the library Akira walked over to the shelves and grabbed a book she knew was simple. She walked back over to Faeler "Try reading the first page the best you can" She said

Faeler ripped open the first page, and red over the words, "great..war..triumph.."

Akira leaned slightly onto Faeler so she could read the book along with him. She nodded her head slowly as he got each word right "So you do know how to read.. You just have to not read like a robot" She said glancing up at him

Faeler shot her a small glare, "I am trying! My father never found that reading was a great skill, that's why I am shit at it"

"I know your trying and your doing great. Just read it as if it's a conversation instead of like your reading off of a list" She said calmly just ignoring the small glare Faeler shot her

Faeler rolled his eyes, "ok, I will try", his eyes darted over the page again, "great war triumph"

Akira smiled hearing Faeler read it more smoothly "See, wasn't that better" She said glanced at him with a huge smile
