Malakai Negri - Malakai smiled "Thank you," he said, looking over his shoulder at her. Kai took a key ring out of his pocket with dozens of keys on it, and found one on the loop. He opened the first guest room, Camery's. The room was massive. Huge. Tall ceilings and large windows from the floor to the ceiling, with heavy drapes to block out the sunlight if needed. The bed was huge too, piled with many fluffy blankets and pillows, the usual for the Night Kingdom people. It got difficult to sleep with wings, so many made nests in their beds with pillows and blankets.

Camery wandered in behind him, looking around the room. At some point, she'd told Jack just to go find his room. One of the maids took him down towards the servants quaters. Camery looked back towards Malakai, a soft hum escaping her. She went to sit on the bed, only really then clocking just how many blankets were actually there. "It gets cold here?" She asked, her eyes still wandering around the room. "It's beautiful," she whispered under her breath after a moment.

Malakai smiled and watched her as she looked around her room. "In the winter, sometimes, but there's a lot of blankets cause most of the Night Kingdom people build nests with the blankets and pillows. They find it more comfortable to sleep in a nest with the wings," he explained. "Glad you like it," he commented with a smile.

Camery looked back at him after a moment, her head cocked. "A nest?" she asked curiously. She wasn't sure how that would work, but she didn't have wings so didn't know how it would help at all. She flopped back into the blankets, letting out a deflating sigh. "It's pretty comfy as it is," she breathed out. She then looked back over at Malakai, though. "Come sit, tell me what you have planned for this ball," che chirped.

Malakai nodded. Yep, nests. He chuckled and plopped down next to her. "Well, the color theme is the same every year, midnight blue and gold, and we host it in the ball room, but that's really all I have so far,"

Cmaery just looked at him, rather amused at the idea of people sleeping in nests. "Aw, how did you handle it at mine? Without all this fancy blankets," she huffed softly to him. She looked back over to the man when he spoke about the ball. "Alright, thats... a start," she muttered. She pouted in thought for a moment, though, shrugged. "Well, in that case we could do the night sky. Midnight blue and gold stars... say, we could sheet the sceiling, have some lights up as the stars. It could stay dark, but keep to the theme," she murmured thoughtfully before glancing back over to him.

Malakai shrugged, "I had to get used to sleeping on my stomach. I still haven't gone back to sleeping in a nest," he replied. Kai nodded "That could work... any other ideas?"

Camery looked over to him with a bit of a hum. "You not like it?" She asked with a chuckle. "Hmm... Sun and moon? Could be quite nice, all considering," she hummed lightly to him. "Who's coming? Could be nice to have a nod to them."

|
Kai shrugged "It's okay, but they'res not much of a difference. I think it's just too much to do before bed," he shrugged. Malakai shrugged again. "Anyone who wants. It's the one day of the year when we just throw our doors open,"

Camery cocked her head at him, thoughtfully. They'd probably already have done something like that anyway. "Well, then. I'm not sure," she hummed, biting her nail for a moment. She hummed and sort of looked around, grabbing a pen and paper. She wandered over to a desk in the corner. "We could have all the kingdoms crest up in navy," she started, sort of scribbling it down as she put her thoughts onto paper. "Food, obviously, and dances..." she trailed off, putting it all down on paper. She leaned back after a moment. "So it's just decor and making sure important people can get here." She murmured. They needed a theme, too. "Any ideas?"
