The rest of the school day went by in a blurr for me. Mostly everything was boring and I couldn't shake Tyler or that stupid girl out of my mind. Luckily though school had ended so I shuffled over to my locker, putting my books away before heading out of school. Luckily the skating rink was only a few blocks away so she decided to walk there. Finally for the first time in awhile I smiled slightly at the thought of skating. To me it was always fun to skate since I got to take my mind off things. After about 30 minutes I got to the rink, putting my bags in a locker then going and renting a pair of skates. I didn't waste any spare seconds as I tied the skates on and went out onto the rink. I looked down at my phone turning my music up louder as I continued to skate. ~ Thats okay dont worry!) |

(Me neither) - The next day at school. I'm standing at my locker avoiding the eye contact of everyone, not bothering to look up and try to find the cute girl. Since she probably won't want to talk to me. I sigh, taking a large sip of water and walking to class. I get there early, not a care in the world, and sit down in my seat. Pulling out my notebook and continuing the drawing's I'm doing of her. My head bobbing along to my music as I do so. - (Idk what else to add. So i' just going to pass it over to you :)) |

I sighed as I gathered her books out of my locker. I hadn't spoken to Tyler since yesterday and couldn't find him anywhere at school either. -I'll text him later...- I thought to myself allowing a frown settle on my face. As soon as I gathered my books I shuffled my way into the next class where I immeadiately noticed a familar orange tinted hair. I look at the girl freezing just for a second before shaking my head -No point in talking to her after you were a douche yesterday- I grumbled in thought as I moved to my desk, sitting down then slumping my head on the top of it just wanting the school day to be over already. |

I spot the cute girl walk in and shake her head. Maybe I could try talking to her? I don't want her to be mean again though... I sigh. God damn decisions. My favorite song comes on and my eyes brighten, as I start to hum along. Continuing to draw her hair at the moment. When class is over I pack up my stuff and rush out, pulling out my phone and checking the messages. My dad has texted me... I hurry to the locker rooms, once I get there, I pull out my phone and tap on the message, reading quickly. Dad: Hey Honey! I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be home this weekend! I snort at the text. Sure he is. He's too caught up in riding he doesn't even bother to spend Christmas with us. Then suddenly appears one day to be all nice. I roll my eyes. Me: Sooo, you show up after being gone for months, not even bothering to be here for Christmas, then arriving very suddenly to be all nice. Ha, funny. What's the real reason your coming. And no, "i just want to see you guys." Bullsh!t. Got it? I press send. I'm furious. With him, with myself, and with everyone. I want to punch something. But I don't. Restraining myself from punching the wall. I sigh and sink to the floor. Covering my head with my arms. What am I going to do now...? A stray tear falls down my cheek. "I miss you Mom..." I mutter, choking on my words. - (Sorry it's in bold I could't figure out an easy way to have it be the text.) |

I was lost in thought the entire class. Not being able to think straight as Tyler was running through my mind and also that cute girl. I had no idea why she kept wandering back into my thoughts but admittedly I wasn't complaining that much about thinking about her. As the bell rung I snapped out of my thoughts and shuffled to my locker, getting ready for the next class. I let out a heavy sigh wondering if I'd see Tyler in that class and hopefully he would talk to me if he was. As I close my locker I walk down the hall when I noticed someone sitting on the floor. Well it wasn't just anyone but it was the girl that I had bumped into yesterday... She looked really upset and being the person I was, I walked up to her and crouched down "Are you okay?" I asked her softly not wanting to startle her. |

"Are you okay?" I hear a girl ask. I look up, tear stained face and blink. It's the cute mean girl. I wince at the name, "Y-yeah. I'm just upset." I tell her, honestly. Her eyes are very pretty. I wonder what she thinks of mine a tiny voice in the back of my mind is saying. - (Sorry it's not long. I didn't know what she would say." |

I gave her a look of sympathy before shifting over and sitting beside the girl. "Would you like to talk about it?" I asked her gently. As I waited for her response I examined her over, now that I was closer to her, she was even prettier. From her beautiful eyes to the sweet scent she gave off, as welll as her voice which had a nice gentle tone to it. A small wave of regret soon washed over me as I rethought about my mean actiosn to her the other day |

"Would you like to talk about it?" She asks sitting down next to me. Her voice was calm and soothing. I sigh. Guess I'm opening up to a complete cute stranger. I suck in a deep breath. "It's... my dad. He left me and my older brother at our grandma's house and went off to do whatever. He then stopped coming to Christmas's and our birthdays. He just texted me he was coming to visit and I kind of blew up on him." I tell her, suprised at my steady voice. I new stream of tears take over my face and I turn my head to her, burying my face in the crook of her neck. I'll apologize later I think, sucking in another breath. Taking in her cinnamony scent. (If she doesn't smell like cinnamon then sorry, tell me and I can change it.) She smells nice. I realize I'm sill waiting for a response, but I don't care. I'm soaking in her wondefull scent. |
