Caleb mounted up. He didn't say anything and rode infront at a trot to the bush pasture to get the beefies. "You know anything about cutting?" He asked.

Taylor Browns - Taylor followed the boy, staying at a trot behind him. "Um, not really" she admitted, her lips pressing into a thin line. She probably should know at least a little bit about it, as she lived and would one day own this property, but nope, she didn't have a clue.

Caleb half glanced at her "why'd you agree to come then?" He asked. He opened the gate and trotted into the pasture and looked for where the cows would be hiding.

Taylor Browns - "Umm... why not?" Taylor said, blushing a bit. The real reason she came was because she wanted to get to know the boy better, and at least become friends, but now she was just embarrassing herself. "I can go, if I'm just gonna get in the way..." she said sheepishly, her face now scarlet red.

caleb looked at her "you can stay" he said as he spotted the cows. he trotted towards them. he half smiled as he noticed her face turning red. (i have a half idea thing. if a cow rushes out of the trees and taylors horse spooks and she falls, its ok if not)

( Oh, thats a good idea! ) Taylor Browns - "Ok" she said quietly and followed the boy. The color slowly faded from her cheeks, now settling back down to their normal skin tone. All of a sudden a cow comes charging out of the trees, headed straight for Taylor. Houdini started to get nervous and started shifting around. Taylor did her best to keep him calm, but her efforts were not working. Houdini reared up, scaring the charging cow, and sending Taylor flying. She hit the ground, hard, on her side. There would definitely be bruises all over that side tomorrow. Houdini dropped his hooves back down, but then took off running in the opposite direction.

caleb looked. "you alright miss?" he asked. he dismounted and offered taylor his hand to help her up. the stables were to far for her to walk back. caleb wondered why the cow had charged and looked over at the bush seeing nothing.

Taylor Browns - "Yea, I think so..." she said taking his hand, and with his help pulling herself up. To her surprise neither of them moved when she was standing again, their noses only inches from each other, and eyes looking into each others. Taylor stood there stupidly, unsure what to do, but eventually reality came back to her and she backed away from the boy. Her face now scarlet red again. She tried to hide her face by looking down at herself and brushing the dirt off of her, before looking back up, some of the color gone, but it still exsisted. She looked around, until she spotted her dark bay morgan galloping into the woods on the other side of the field. "Damnnit" she muttered. Now she'd hafta go find him.

caleb looked at her "he'll go back to the stable" he explained once he was mounted "hop on" he said holding out his hand. caleb would need to herd up the cows with her on whiskey if she agreed.

Taylor Browns - "Mk.." she agreed skeptically. Taylor took the boys hand, and with his help, she mounted his horse, holding on tightly with her arms around his torso, behind him. Taylor had ridden like this a few times before when she was younger, but the last time she had was when she was 9 or 10 and she fell off and broke her arm. Remembering this time, Taylor now held on for dear life, with her arms wrapped around the boy.
