A rose dapple grey mare galloped out sliding to a stop she was a wildish mare who hated people. This one caught Caleb's eye. He was the only bidder against a slaughter house. He won paying 500 dollars for the mare. He stayed and found an old chestnut Australian riding cross welsh mountain pony 12.2hh with an black quarter horse 15hh.
