After watching the stallion for a couple more minutes, she walked over to her side projects. They were acting quite happily in the field. With a short whistle, she managed to convince them to come. Steel was acting like a colt should, finally. He was happy, crazy, and much of a handful. Silverado was tougher, though. He had been through so much worse. He barely trusted Isabella. So far, she hadn't rushed him into anything, and she didn't plan to. Silverado would tell her when he was ready. |

Tyler had West go through all the paces, stop, and switch directions. He then grabbed a helmet and hopped on the stallion bareback, with just a halter, and proceeded working on paces |

Gently, she touched Silverado, who backed away at her touch. Deep in his heart, he wanted more, but every time she touched him, it was like a trick. People trick you. People hurt you. Thats what he had been taught over his whole life. |

After West was slathered in sweat Tyler let out a sigh and hopped off the horse. He was rather sweaty too... it was a lot of work riding bareback. Tyler groomed the horse thoroughly after putting West in the stall, and after he was done he cleaned the tack |

"I know that you have been hurt before, trust me, I know. Silverado, you could kill me in a second, if I was trying to hurt you I wouldn't have the guts to come anywhere near you. Bud, I wish I knew more about what happened to you, maybe one day I'll know. I just need you to trust me buddy." Bella told the horse. In a way that only the designated owner could understand, Silverado looked at her, as if he understood. His eyes held a message. They said, 'I really want to, but I can't.' He dropped his head as a reiner does in their backups. "I understand. Once you're ready to trust me." she told him. |

Tyler walked over to the entrance of the barn, his dark eyes glimmering in the dim light as he watched Isabella murmur to Silverado. -That horse has been through too much- He thought, watching for a moment more before turning and going back to the tackroom to finish cleaning tack and organize his little cubby. |

After having a conversation with the hurt horse, she moved to desensitizing the colt. She started with flags, then when he showed progress, she moved to the pool noodle obstacle. |

Yes, sorry. I've had a lot on my plate and don't get to play the game as much now.)) - After Tyler was done he took West out and hopped on the stallion bareback with just a halter, guiding him into the woods. Why not go for a little trail ride, right? Tyler urged the horse into a trot and observed his surroundings. Everything was so peaceful ad beautiful. |
