Rose slowly fell asleep

Caden debated,walking around the kitchen for a moment as he thought.He'd kept the pills a secret,his mind a secret,his exhaustion a secret,his p- oh my god,the Superbowl was today.Caden stopped,grabbing the pills and putting them somewhere he wouldn't look for them.The spice cabinet would work for now.He started rouning up his things in a hurry,tossing them into his bag.

Rose woke a bit later, hearing him move hurriedly downstairs. She walked tiredly downstairs and gave him a confused and groggy look. "What in the hell are you doing, and why are you so stressed about it?" She asked

Caden kicked the spice cabinets door shut,looking up at her. "Superbowl's today,can't mess up." He says hurriedly,dropping his bag and feeling his pockets before trudging upstairs and searching through his nightstand for his AirPods before Murphy walked in,holding something. "Murphy,now is not the time for this." He growled,the dog growling and taking off.Caden rolled his eyes and took off,chasing the dog before popping the great dane in the mouth and snatching the airpods case.He walked over to his bag and tossed them in,running a hand through his hair before zipping up the bag.

"Okay....I'll see you there?" She said, watching him. "Love you" She said quietly

"Love you." He mumbled as he headed out the door.Caden drove and got a RedBull,sipping on it and driving to the gym to get a quick pump before the game.

Rose sighed and patted Murphy's head as she came down the stairs. She went and ordered a lotus before going back upstairs to change

Caden finished the quick workout and sped to the stadium.The Eagles had already showed up,as well as most of his team.The doors were opening in a hour and Caden had given Rose a pass to come down through the player entrance,letting her find a seat first.

Rose glanced at the time. "Should probably head out." She muttered to herself, grabbing her lotus and keys. She popped on shoes and went to drive to the stadium. When she arrived, she gawked at the size of it and the people bustling around to get things ready. She knew this was honestly the calm before the storm, but it still felt busier than she usually had her little life

"Aight listen up!" Coach Hawkin's voice boomed. "Doors are open,you see that swarm?That's people.Your playing infront of millions of people,whether it's here or on TV.Play harder until your body gives out,test yourself until you mind gives out,and let you will lead the way.Now get out there,see if you should keep those contracts." With that,Caden nodded,heading into position on the field.
