The girl huffed out a breath when he noted he didn't know... she was a dog person all the way... but she supposed it was just because they reflected her in that way. She'd follow anyone around as long as they were kind, and she would go to the end for a friend... she supposed that was what she was doing with Sage now. Following him around until he needed someone. "I think you're a cat person," she breathed out before puffing her cheeks up. "You seem like the type," she told him with a soft chuckle. "You only come to me when you need something or other," she told him with pursed lips.

Sage chuckled at the girl's comment and shrugged lightly. "I'll have to take your word for it," he noted with amusement. "Though, I must say, I can act quite like the lovesick puppy," he admitted with a sheepish chuckle. He'd acted like that quite a bit with Anya, he supposed, and somewhat with the horses. But either way, he supposed he would act like a cat. And he supposed the small and Luther body type belonged to a cat, so the girl probably wasn't too far off. The doctor would probably agree with her too...though the doctor seemed a bit like a cat person himself.

The he girl chucked slightly and rolled her eye. "Excuse me for having a hard time believing you," she mused when he said he acted like a lovesick puppy. In truth she couldn't see him acting like that at all... maybe with the horses, because he liked those, but she couldn't imagine him actually running after anyone like that... though it was amusing to think about to say the least. "My brother has a cat... you'll see when you come over. The silly thing only wants a fuss when she needs something like food or water," she chuckled as she relaxed against the tree. "So I'd say you're rather similar."

Sage chuckled slightly and shrugged, giving the girl a rather sheepish smile. "Just ask Anya," he chuckled, remembering all the times he'd just followed her along, more than happy to just be with the girl, and then nodded. "I suppose I'm a bit like that at times," he mused, in a rather amused tone of voice. Chaos snorted, and Sage threw the stallion a withering look, though the black horse didn't seem at all phased as he munched away at the grass. Sage huffed and rolled his eyes before glancing over at the girl again. "I suppose we'll find out at some point, I'm bound to meet both a dog and a cat at some time," he hummed.

She shook her head a little and gave a bit of a laugh. "I'll be sure to have a heart to heart with our good princess about how puppy like you are," she laughed with a small huff before resting her head against the tree again. She murmured a type of agreement as she looked towards Sage and his horse, a light smile pasted to her face. "Yeah, only you need to meet nice ones that actually like people as a whole," she mused softly before shaking her head again. (short on the run)

(you're all good) Sage chuckled and nodded. "I walked into that one didn't I," he groaned, though of course he didn't really care. He chuckled again when the girl noted he had to meet friendly ones and nodded. "I would assume I would like them better if they're not trying to bite my face off," he hummed, absentmindedly fiddling with Chaos's mane as he lay there.

The girl grinned to the boy and gave a bit of a nod. "You'll like this one! She's sweet enough if I give you a bit of chicken or something, she murmured with a bit of a chuckle. "I bet Anya has loads of dirt on you," she giggled lightly as she went back to resting her head on the tree, her chin tilted back so theat the sun could just reach her face though the trees. "I reckon I'll stay another night and then the doctor can watch you... I'll head off home and make sure everything is set up after that," she hummed lightly.

Sage chuckled and nodded, cocking his head slightly as he imagined the cat. Then he wrinkled his nose slightly and hummed in agreement. "She definitely does," he huffed. "Probably knows more than she should," he noted with amusement. He nodded in response to the girl and then shrugged. "Fine with me," he told the girl. The doctor wouldn't mind...he could just sleep on the couch in the man's office or something, and then when the girl was ready he could go with her. "Are you sure you want me hanging around your house though," he hummed. "I mean..surely your mom doesn't need another person just sitting around," he noted.

The girl shook her head at him and offered her usual friendly smile. "You don't need to worry... my brothers are usually out, and I'm sure she'd be grateful for the company. There should be some easy jobs you can help out with too," she told him gently. "And the doctor said it would be good for you, so I can't really say no, now can I?" She mused lightly before giving a bigger smile. "Plus, I quite like you - so having you around. As long as you're not planning to steal what little we have then we should be all good," she told him with a small chuckle.

Sage chuckled and nodded. "Ok, ok," he hummed good naturedly. "Well I already decided I was gonna help out whether you agreed with it or not," he noted. "So really, you don't get a choice." He was really just playing around about that, though he would do any work they threw at him. "Besides, we can't argue with the doctor I suppose," he noted with amusement, "So I think I'll be getting dragged over there even if I decide to just go limp on the floor,"he chuckled. But he was a bit excited...he wanted to figure out what a family was like, since his had always been....less than stellar. He gave the girl a grin and chuckle at her last comment and shrugged. "I don't think I'll eat it all if I did," he hummed in a rather amused manner.
