Caden stirred again,his vision blurred from the gunshot,his mind still ringing from the rifle.He reached out and grabbed a man's ankle,pulling with his body weight and the man falling.Caden stood and grabbed the mans gun,slinging the side of it into the members head like a golf club.He then walked past,grabbing another duffle of money and handing it over. "300k,now what?" Caden asks,rookie mistake.The leader looked up and smiled a grim smile. "Now,you get to choose which one of you gets to join the gang." |

As Rose looked at Caden, her eyes were pleading, defiant, angry, and curious all at once. She didn't want to join the gang, but she also didn't want Caden to either. |

Rose knew how high the stakes were if he had been defiant or put up a fight, but it still hurt more than anything to watch him leave. She wanted him so badly to just wrap his arms around her and kiss her, but that wouldn't happen any time soon... |
