Caden took the shoes he had on and kicked them aside,opening his bedside drawer and taking out his pistol before re-loading it.He put it back in the bottom and hung his suit jacket up,laying on his side of the bed and taking out his phone before scrolling.

Rose slowly walked through the door and nearly dropped her gun when she saw who was there. "No fucking way"

Caden kept scrolling,barely looking up at her before setting the phone down and meeting her gaze. "Ah,Rose.Just who I've been looking for."

Rose stood there, in absolute shock, before holstering her pistol and slowly walking over to him. "How?" She breathed, reaching for his hand. "You have a lot of explaining to do..."

Caden chuckled at her reaction,the small smile lingering on his face. "Well,obviosuly the last time you saw me I was shot and probably going to die.Newsflash,I didn't.Anyways,was told to kill god knows how many people,did that,and then you were my target,I said I missed your drink,got let go,and now I'm here." He explains,flinching as she went to reach for his hand.

Rose pulled her hand back and crossed her arms. "Why"

"Uh simply because I couldn't make myself kill you.And,they were going to kill me,unless I killed the others.So.....yeah." He says,fidgeting with the empty vile.

"Why did you come back?" She asked quietly, watching him. She honestly didn't fully trust him anymore. He'd ruined half of it by just not telling her about the gang. "Why didn't you tell me in the first place?"

"Why wouldn't I come back?It's my property afterall." He responded,slight annoyance seeping out. "I didn't tell you because you were so stinking happy.You were healthy,you were happy,and just,life was great.If I told you about the gang I thought it would all crumble,all the good life would just,disperse somewhere else." Caden said quietly,head down.

"It probably would have, but maybe then i'd trust you." She muttered, walking downstairs and sitting on the couch with her head in her hands
