The girl opened her eyes a tiny bit when she heard the cats slight pur and smiled, reaching the ti pet the little thing before getting comfortable under the covers again. The sun was shining through the windows, and it was a pretty little sight... the room was definitely Sages now... it had been for a while. It just kind of felt like his space. "Good morning," she whispered into his hair before closing her eyes and curling up around him once more. She was happy.. relaxed, and she was definitively happy with the fact that she'd decided to stay with him last night... even if they weren't doing anything, even if she was just sitting with him, it was comforting.

Sage hummed out a quiet good morning to the girl in response to her greeting, tilting his head up to look up at her for a moment before cuddling back up and closing his eyes again. The sight of the girl's face had brought a soft smile to his face, and as he remembered their time together, the smile really only grew. He was definitely comfortable, and he thought he'd gotten the best spot in the entire ward, next to the window, which heated things up. He was never uncomfortable in here, unless of course he was hurt or sick or something. But he wasn't now, and this was nice. (I was thinking, what if they go out to town for something and wind up near the tavern, and people start bashing sage about working there, and that's how Mari sort of finds out what exactly he did in it? I was thinking he could get hurt or something and Mari has to figure out how she feels about it all and help him out. Lmk)

(Yeah, I like that! We can do that a little bit later on) She smiled slightly at his little murmur... at his tired morning voice, and the way he curled into her... it was all safe and comfortable. She wondered if the doctor needed her help with anything... she should probably get up, but she didn't want to. She wanted to sit there and remember the events of the night before... their date, and their kiss. Hell, even the thought of it made her heart flutter. When she thought about it, just being curled up with him, their legs entwined and their arms tangled together, that made her whole body warm up with a kind of light feeling.

Sage was more than happy to lay there and do nothing...it was comfortable, and he was still rather tired. The comfiness of the room helped that, no doubt, but it was nice all the same. Amber had risen by then, though, and crawled on top of his torso to nudge at his hand with a rather bossy meow. He giggled lightly at the cats antics and reached over to stroke her head lightly. She lay down on top of him then happily. No doubt she'd be like that all day, since he was gone last night. That was fine...she was nice too.

Mari wondered if he could her heart bouncing against her chest... she hoped he couldn't hear it... she didn't think she'd get over the embarrassment of it. She eventually sighed and untengled herself from the boy and buried herself under the covers so that you could barely see her face. She was so tired, still, and kind of hungry too. "Do you think the doctor would have left food for you," she murmured quietly as she pressed her self into his side, stealing away any kind warmth he had left... kind of just taking in his scent and and kind comfort he provided.

Sage let out a complaining whine when the girl moved, and sort of slid lower and limpeted himself back into the girl with a sort of hum. "Dunno," he mumbled sleepily. "He probably has something somewhere for us," he hummed. In all truth, he was getting hungry himself, but he just didn't want to get up...he was warm and comfortable, and cuddled up with both Mari and Amber, who had laid partially on his head since that was what was poking out from under the covers.

Mari gave a happy sounding noise when the boy stuck back onto her, closing her eyes once more as she eyes and let out a deflating kind of sigh. She eventually decided she was hungry, though, and pressed a soft kind of groan whispered "I won't be long," to the boy before slipping out of the bed and going to have a look around for some food... the doctor had left some plates outside the room, so she picked those up and slinked back into the room and perched on the side of the bed, placing the food on Sages beside table. She then slipped back in behind him with a bit of a giggle and wrapped her cold hands around him before slipping them under his shirt. "I got food," she whispered gently to the boy with a little smile.

Sage groaned when the girl left, but stayed curled up on the bed. The girl had said she'd, be back, so he'd stay there, it was fine. Besides, she'd made it clear she hadn't expected him to follow her so he was going to stay where it was comfortable. He let out a squeak when he felt the girl's cold hands slip under his shirt and onto his skin, and wriggled around slightly with a giggle. "You're cold," he whined, though he snuggled up into the girl anyway. He left her hands on his torso, since he kind of couldn't help but like it all....he wasn't sure what the girl was thinking as of then, but he had to admit that if she wanted to start something, he'd be fine with it. "What's for breakfast," he sighed after a moment, tilting his head back to peer up at the girl curiosly. Amber had left to lap up some water by then, so they had the bed to themselves.

Mari giggled quietly when the boy started to wriggle around, but smiled when he settled down into her. "And you're warm, so this works," she teased gently. She let her fingers trail around his lower torso where they rested, and moved to poke her head over his shoulder where they were laying and burying her nose into his neck. "Just toast," she hummed lightly. "This new cook needs to get creative," she mused lightly to the boy before shaking her head and half closing her eyes. She did have a slight smile across her face... clearly she was happy right then, and she did have a very slight blush across her cheeks. It was just the whole feeling of the moment. The warmth and the light and the light smell of towast in the air.. it was nice.

Sage huffed out a breath of complaint, though it was more playful than anything. He felt a shiver run down his spine as the girl moved her fingers around and buryed her face in his neck. He was keenly aware of both her fingers and her lips, though he tried to keep himself from getting too excited. It was stilled arly, and they hadn't eaten yet. He chuckled slightly and hummed thoughtfully. "Maybe you should teach them something new then," he chuckled. "I liked your cooking. It was better," he hummed in a light tone, closing his eyes again happily.
