He jogged back downstairs and into the garage, grabbing two helmets and a bike.Caden turned it on and rolled it into the house, handing the other helmet to Rose before putting his on and bringing it onto the back porch, waiting until she was on the bike before taking off towards the backroad. |

Rose held onto him, glancing behind them every so often |

He eventually made it to the road, turning sharply and the bike skidding, Caden's reaction being to put his hand out to brace against the asphalt, keeping the bike in motion before straightning and launching down the road. |

He merged onto the freeway and kept at the speed, the bike flying through cars.As the flashing lights came into view Caden groaned, pulling over and turning off the bike. "Morning officer," He greeted as he fished his ID out of his wallet, handing it off as he flipped the visor of his helmet up, getting some air. |

Rose stayed silent the whole time, her eyes flashing to the gun at the officer's hip. She was tired of shooting and being shot at, the same routine of pain and fear and then the false hope of safety before it started again |

The officer left and Caden sighed, checking the time as the officer came back. "Ortiz, huh? I remember you, you tried to steal my gun.Anyways, i'm letting you off with a warning." Caden thanked the officer before speeding off, still feeling off about the whole thing. |

"I remember that guy, he was the one in the--nevermind," He trailed off, driving in silence when he noticed a car following them. "Fuck off you bastard," Caden mumbled, driving faster. |
