(wanna time skip to the next day?) . Iris thought about the homework she needed to do and when her parents would call next. She thought about Kinley and what she was doing. Probably something similar to Iris. Hanging out with a guy. Suddenly Iris felt like she was in the wrong place. This wasn't her area of expertise. What was she doing here? When had this happened? Why was she suddenly so comfortable cuddling up next to a man? Well, duh, it was Caden. |

(Sure) Once it started to get seriously late, he started talking about heading back. "Y'know we should really be heading back, we both have classes early tommorow morning."
Caden said with a yawn, standing. He drove them back to the campus, kissing her one last time before departing back to his assigned dorm. The man went and took a quick shower, hunger gone as he brushed his teeth and ran a comb through his hair. Afterwards he slipped under the covers, turning out his lamp and drifting off quickly. |

Iris sighed and nodded. "Yeah, you're right." She stood and got in the car, waving to Caden as she walked back to her dorm. She must've had a telling look on her face because when she went in, Kinley looked up and grinned. She didn't say anything to Iris, just left her alone. She took a shower and fell asleep quickly, dreaming of puppies for some reason. |

Caden's alarm blared loud enough to wake a city, or at least, to him it did. He smacked it until it went quiet, groaning and rubbing his face with his hand. The man stood, throwing on a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie as tiredness settled in. He went and brushed his teeth, slipping on a pair of Dunks before grabbing his backpack and heading out the door to Corner 17 where he went and ate breakfast. |

Iris woke up in a bad mood. She had been too cold last night and had tossed and turned. Her guess was she'd gotten five hours of sleep. She groaned and rolled out of bed, taking a quick, hot, heavenly shower before frying an egg and sitting down to finish her math homework. |

While at the corner store, he picked up a quick bouquet of her favorite flowers, heading to her dorm. Caden walked through the brisk morning air, shivering lightly as a heavy snow started falling. He covered the flowers, making sure they wouldn't get ruined as he walked into her dorm building, kicking the snow off his shoes yet ignoring the blizzard on his clothes and hair as he knocked on her door. |

Iris was stuck on a problem that had to do with absolute values and fractions when she heard someone knocking on the door. She was annoyed at being interrupted, since she had lost her train of thought. She huffed and stood, grabbing a sweater so the cold air from outside wouldn't freeze her. She opened the door and her bad mood broke a little when she saw it was Caden. "Caden! You caught me in the middle of math." She explained sheepishly. "Come in, come in." Iris beckoned him in and closed the door behind him, cutting off the chilly wind. |

Caden beamed when he saw her, pecking her cheek as he walked past. "Good, means I can give you an excuse of why your homework wasn't done." He chuckled, shedding his coat and tossing it on a chair before flopping down on her bed, remembering the flowers. "Oh right---picked these up on the way here, thought you might want some." He said simply, offering the bouquet. |

Iris smiled, but it wasn't a totally true smile. She was still clinging on to her grumpiness. But when he offered her the flowers, she gave in, accepting them with a slight blush and a smile. "Thank you. You didn't have to do that," she said as she found a vase and filled it with water for the bouquet. |

"I know I didn't but, it made you smile so, kinda did have to." He chuckled, smiling warmly as he watched her fill the vase, setting the flowers in it. Caden noticed the way she wasn't truly smiling, cupping her jaw with his hand gently. "Oh c'mon, I know that isn't how you actually smile." |
