Mari smiled at the boy and gave him a little bit of a squeeze. "Well I'm prettyyyy," she hummed in amusement as she pressed another light kiss to his lips before sitting down next to him and nibbling on the toast. "It looks good anyway," she was still sleepy, so she didn't have much of an appetite as of then, so just nibbled away until she'd had her fill. It was a nice day... so she wanted to go out and do something fun, even if it was just sitting out in the front and letting the sun wash over them while it was out. "Were you wanting to do anything today? I've got the day off so we can do anything," she told him with a light smile.

Sage chuckled and hummed in agreement with the girl's first comment, a grin forming on his face when the girl kissed him. He always did that...and while he'd noticed the pattern, he didn't mind it. It was probably just sweet...a happy response to Mari. He hummed thoughtfully and shrugged lightly once he'd finished eating. "be outside. Maybe a picnic later...not really sure," he hummed, getting up to go wash their plates off since Mari had made the meal.

The girl hummed in agreement as she went to sort the dishes out, though she went to dry them for him before putting them away. "We can find a nice sunny spot... I'll make up some sandwiches or something. I don't want to go too far though," she murmured quietly. She was just... weary, and leaving the walls just seemed like a lot of work. She did like to sit in the warmth, though, and it was a nice day... so being able to go out and just relax was definitely appealing. She loved her work, she did, but she also liked a day to herself to do whatever from time to time.

Sage nodded, more than happy to go hang out outside with Mari for a bit. "That's fine," he hummed lightly. "The garden will be blooming by now so it'll be a nice spot close to the castle," he informed the girl. He glanced back at her briefly before going back to the washing. "Maybe you would benefit from a nap in the sun....you look exhausted still." Amber, by then, had wandered over to Mari and hopped on her lap, sniffing intently at Mari's abdomen before curling up gently on her lap, happy to rest with the girl if sage was busy.

Mari smiled softly when the cat hopped onto her lap and scratched the side of her cheek softly. She did love the little animal... but she clearly preferred Sage, so it was nice when she did come and sit with her. She pouted at the boy a bit when he said she looked tired... well, she was exhausted, but to be honest, she always was. "A nap sounds good," she hummed softly. "I'll make some food up in a little bit and then we can go out..." she hummed as she leaned on the back of the chair. To be honest, she was happy to do anything, but a nap did sound really, really good.

Amber started purring as soon as the girl started scratching her cheek, more than happy to sit there while she was fussed over. Sage hummed and nodded when the girl admitted a nap would be nice, admittedly slightly worried about the girl. "It's been a few days now you've been so tired ...maybe you should see the doctor. If you're getting sick he could help," he suggested lightly. She didn't have to, of course, but he did think it would be a good idea if she hadn't been feeling herself recently. "But that sounds fine to me," he hummed in response to the girl's comment.

Mari hummed slightly at the boys suggestion, though kept her eyes on the cat. "It's not the doctor's job to look after me," she murmured quietly before shrugging slightly. "I'll be alright. I just need to rest a while," she hummed softly. She'd go see him if things got worse... but until then she could look after herself. She was happy to sit with the boy for a little while. Eventually, she sighed and forced herself up, handing the kitten back to Sage before grabbing some bread and making up some little ham sandwiches. Really, the thought of eating them made her sick, but she'd made enough for Sage, at least. She put them in a little basket before looking back at the boy with a small smile. "Right, let's go," she hummed lightly to the boy.

Sage hummed doubtfully but let the topic go. If the girl didn't want to talk about it, then he wouldn't make her...but he was a bit concerned about her. She definitely wasn't her usual self. He took the cat back from her with a smile when she handed her to him and stroked her back happily as the kitten rubbed her head against his chin. He nodded happily when the girl said she was ready, and walked along side her as they went to the garden. He picked out a spot in the sun that was nice and close to the castle, since Mari was looking rather lethargic. No, that wasn't the word for it. Just really, really tired. He sat down and took the basket so Mari could make herself comfortable as Amber frolicked around in the gardens next to them.

Mari tried a small smile at the boy before following him along. She kind of half leaned on the boy as they walked... well, not leaning on him, but she'd looped her arm through his and tried to carry herself a little bit more using him. When the boy found a spot, the girl flopped down on the mossy grass with a bit of a sigh. She was really quite tired... and she had been that way for a while, but being on her feet didn't really help. It just made her feel sick... dizzy, and a tiny bit nauseous. Well, it happened a fair amount, mainly after she'd eaten, so it didn't really come as much of a surprise. She also didn't want to complain to Sage, because she didn't want to ruin a nice day. She sighed once she could finally let her muscles relax and covered her eyes from the sun with her hand.

Sage was a bit concerned when the girl started to lean on him as they walked, which was partially the reason he'd picked a spot so close to the castle...he didn't want the girl to wear herself down or hurt herself in any way. He did wonder what was wrong...because something was definitely wrong, but if she'd be stubborn and and not go to the doctor, he didn't want to push her unless he though she really needed it. But for now, he was happy to just relax in the sun and nibble at some sandwiches, running his fingers through Mari's hair and watch Amber playing in the flowers.
