Rose felt his shift and wrapped her arms around him, wishing he was awake so he could tell her it would all be okay

Caden awoke with a jolt and flicked his eyes open, melting into Rose's embrace as he buried his face in her neck. "Why did I bring us here out of all places, Rose? I should've known better, i'm sorry." He said quietly.

"It's okay, baby..." She said softly, trying to comfort. She felt like telling him he should be sorry-dragging her here, a place she's never even heard of until now. "You did what you had to in order to keep us safe."

"No, no, I didn't. We're not safe here either. That's my problem, Rose. I don't think before I do anything. Here was the first place that popped up, and I didn't think, just booked a flight and called it good." He said softly, mind a mess.

"Caden, don't think that....You did what you had to so we could be safe." Though, she didn't feel safe at all. She felt less safe than home, where she could have had a couple shots fired and be in her bed instead of with Caden's sulking self

"Just know i'm sorry, that;s all." He finishes, face going mad as he heard a click of a gun.Caden stood quickly and walked to a closet, opening it and pulling out a rifle.He walked out and slung it over his shoulder, looking around. "Come out you bastard," The man called in Russian, shooting numerous shots into the wood.Eventually the sound of something hitting the ground erupted, Caden cursing before walking back in. "See?" He asks, setting the gun to the floor.

Rose grabbed her pistol silently, following him

"God I can never choose a place I don't hate," He mumbled, shooting off more bullets.

Rose was silent and waited

Caden set the butt of the rifle to the ground, leaning on it slightly as he watched a group of men walk out. "Shit, sorry about that boys." He calls, slinging the rifle over his shoulder as he walked to the group and shook hands, smiling slightly. "Gave me a fright, that's all." Caden explained, a smile of fear on his face, a thousand yard stare in his eyes as he glanced at Rose, making eye contact before getting his head turned towards one of the men, them staring into his already frightened face. "You're scared, arn't you?" The man asked, Caden shaking his head, chuckling lightly. "I--what--no! Of course i'm not scared of you...." He trailed off, the man laughing before wrapping it up and walking out.Caden waved before turning to look at Rose, face pale, eyes wide, and that thousand yard stare of too much fear for ten people.Caden walked back into the mansion, shutting the door and locking it before sinking to the floor. "Oh my god..." The man trailed off, trembling slightly.He hadn't felt more fear in his life until today, until he realized his father knew where he was.
