Florida squeaked with happiness as she took off down the hallway. "Can we go outside? Please please please?" She begged, slowing so he could catch her. She stopped infront of the doors, peering out at the world outside

Sage chased after her with a chuckle, grabbing his shirt along the way. Though when she asked to go outside, he glanced out the doors, chewing on his lower lip. "I don't know if it's safe," he noted, trying to see any planes or....anything.

Flo gave him a pleading look "Please? Last time we went outside we had to bury peoples ashes and I don't want my only outside experiences through this being sad" she looked up at him then back outside. "At least just some fresh air?" she looked down at his shirt in his hand, toying with the fabric before running her hand up his arm to rest on his shoulder.

Sage groaned after a moment and then gave a defeated sigh. "Fine, but promise you won't go too far away from the building," he asked, moving to tug his shirt back on and then poke his head out the door, honestly nervous something bad would happen.

"I'll try not to" she flashed him a playful grin, giggling when he looked outside. Flo grabbed the handle and pulled the door open so she could step outside. She let her bare feet dig into the dirt, her lungs filling with the sweet air tinged with smoke. She walked a little, stopping occasionally to run her hands over the bark of trees and the petals of surviving flowers. Flo darted to the side to watch a butterfly. She followed the butterfly with her eyes before following a trail toward the woods. She kept glacing toward the hospital so she didn't wander too far. Florida walked a little further down this path. She turned to look at the hosiptal at the same moment as the ground seemed to disappear under her. Her foot slipped into a hole that she comletely missed. She was at the back of the building, but the pain coming from her ankle was blinding. One glance at her foot made her gag. That's not good. That's really not good. Flo hobbled a little, accidentally putting weight on her ankle and making her entire leg numb, her head spinning. She glances down once more at the bone protruding out of her foot that she definitely not be twisted that way. A trail of blood- a lot more than she expected- followed her toward the hospital. Her mind spun and her vision became dizzy as she stared at the red liquid. Then the whole world went black, the ground suddenly getting really close before her eyes shut and her pain faded with her consciousness

Sage started to protest when she slopped out before he'd finished checking to make everything was safe, but she was already gone before he could get the words out. He sort of just sighed and moved to settle down on a chair on the porch, half keeping an eye on her and half just enjoying being outside. It was hard, staying indoors...the wolf in him wanted out. He wanted to be in the woods, to hunt, to get plenty of exercise. But that just wasn't possible all the time. He stiffined when the faint scent of blood hit his nose though, and he shot up from his chair, checking around the hospital prantically, until he found her. He noticed the foot quickly, and sighed, making sure nothing else was hurt before scooping her up and bringing her inside. It was a nasty break, and her foot had no pulse, so he did his best to steralize what tools he could find, and set to work fixing up the foot. She was passed out, but he gave her some sedation anyway just so she didn't wake up in the middle of a literal surgery. He was done soon enough though, and settled on the bed next to her to wait for her to wake up.

Ally groaned, her eyes squeezing shut. Something throbbed and she managed to muster enough strength to rub her eyes. She felt weak, probably from the loss of blood from her ankle. her ankle! Her eyes flew open and she moved to sit up a little so she could look around. She was still slightly dizzy and things weren't adding up. "Sage?" she paused when she saw him. "Why can't I feel my foot very well?" She asked, her gaze traveling to her leg. Her fingers were gripping the blanket over her, her frustration mixing with the pain starting to grow in her ankle

Sage half jumped when the girl practically shot upwards, but put a gentle hand on her shoulder to calm her. And also to make sure she didn't, like...try to stand up or anything. "You broke it pretty good," he noted softly. "I put in a local anesthetic. You shouldn't feel much from it for a while," he added. Then he gave a a more mischevious grin. "If I'd have known blood would make you faint I might have spared you a few sights in this place," he added, really just teasing about the whole passing out thing in an attempt to lighten the conversation.

Flo relaxed under Sage's touch. She nodded slowly at his first comment then rolled her eyes when he spoke again. "Oh shush" she grinned back. "Small blood doesn't bother me that much but that one-" she cut herself off, her eyes squeezing shut

Sage chuckled softly and leaned over to peck her head. "Well, it's cleaned up and splinted," he mused. "Looks perfectly normal. Just don't try walking on it for a while. Took a long time to piece back together," he noted lightly. Then he gave her a sort of fake pout. "And why is it every time I let you convince me to let you out you get hurt," he teased, though he did feel guilty about agreeing to it.
