When Duncan agreed, Axel moved forward. It was hours later when he finally shifted off of Duncan, both of them breathing heavily. It had been odd, doing it in a tub....he'd had to be careful not to accidentally dunk Duncan or anything....but it had been wonderful in a way he hadn't known could happen.

Duncan still had his eyes pinched shut. He crossed his leg tightly and drew his legs to his chest. He really didn't know what just happened or that his body was capable of doing whatever he just did. It was all a lot to take in so fast, he didn't know what to do. It was really hard for him to process everything and he was just really stressed out.

Axel could tell Duncan was a little confused, so he just settled down next to him. "That's normal," he noted softly. "Just relax, you'll go back to normal soon," he added, wanting to make sure this didn't put him off from doing it again.

Duncan was more than a little confused. He was stressed beyond anything he thought was possible. Duncan had enjoyed the activity, but he hated whatever this was. He didn't know what happened, whether it was that he'd passed his sensory limit or something else, but he was really freaked out. His body was sore in places he'd never thought could hurt so badly and he was getting flashes of the memories of what happened to him not long ago...

Axel wasn't entirely sure what to think. He didn't want to press Duncan, but the boy beside him was tense, clearly stressed. He didn't know what to do to help. Maybe it would be better if he left? Would Duncan want that? Or did he need comfort? Or maybe he just hadn't liked it and just didn't want to tell Axel that. He was probably overthinking it, worrying over nothing....but he was worried.

Duncan felt gross too. He wanted to wash himself and get out now, which was unlike him as he loved the water so much. He wanted to scrub every inch of his skin, just like he had after the little event not too long ago... "I wanna get cleaned up now," he breathed. He needed at least a little bit of light to do so but he didn't want Axel to see his body yet.

Axel nodded when he mentioned getting himself cleaned up. "I'll leave you to it then," he noted, knowing he'd probably want to do that alone. "Take your time," he added, before shifting to climb out of the tub and find his wet clothes, sliding them back on and grabbing a towel before slipping out of the bathroom and changing into dry clothes once he was out there.

Duncan nodded, staying in the bathroom. Once Axel was gone, Duncan turned the lights back on and started scrubbing. He cleaned his body over and over until his skin was red and raw once again. Eventually he got out and got dressed in thick heavy clothing despite it being quite hot tonight. Duncan left the bathroom and wandered over to the bed, getting in on his side and lying on his back beside Axel silently.

Axel had flopped onto the bed with a sigh once he was dressed, staring out the window as he thought. When Duncan lay down beside him, he shifted to his back so he could look at Duncan, frowning slightly when he noticed the heavy clothes. "You alright," he asked quietly.

Duncan hesitated and then shook his head. "No..." he whispered.
