Tyra wrung her hands and decided to do what she thought was best, going on a walk, simple and easy and no way she could stuff it up, Tyra quickly changed into compression pants and a Light shirt, she popped in her ear buds and played some simple RnB music. Tyra left the house and jogged down the street, only listening to the music and waiting for a phone call about a case.

Lucifer finally decided he had a destination in mind and drove to the beach, getting out of the car. He shut his black car door with a quiet thud, taking off his crisp jacket that completed his suit and placing it inside the car. In his light blue shirt he walked down onto the sand, staring out at the water. The gentle waves lapped against the yellow sand, shining blue and reflecting the golden light. No one was there at that time because it was right in work hours, and most people worked right now. Most people. Lucifer's gaze dropped to the sand for a moment, his amber eyes flickering golden in the light, before he looked back at the water with a sigh. "When will I ever learn humans will not accept me." He mumbled to himself, trying to refuse to feel sad but failing.

Tyra jogged along the harbour, having a blast, until she saw a figure standing alone on the sand, she could tell who it was instantly, a wave of guilt poured over her, Tyra hung her earbuds around her neck and approached Lucifer slowly, making no sound on the sand.

"Hey, uh, Lucifer, in am so sorry for what I said in the office today, it wasn't right, I shouldn't of made you feel this way" she said letting her hair down, shaking her head.

Lucifer watched the blue water for a little while longer. This is where he landed on earth after deciding he didn't want to rule hell any longer. This is where he learned how cruel humans really were. How messed up most humans really were. He turned in his shoes as he heard very, very soft footsteps and saw Tyra. -Well that's more than a suprise- He thought, his black eyebrows raising. Lucifer suffed his hands in his pockets and did not speak as the detective spoke. "Oh- you don't have to apologize." He smiled slightly. "Really it is my fault for barging in. I tend to do that a lot- it is a big fault of mine. What brings you to the beach?" Lucifer asked, turning to look back at the sand. "The sun is rather strong."

Tyra looked at Lucifer, "I was just jogging along until I saw you, sorry for interrupting your quiet time, I guess I should leave you now" Tyra said, turning to jog away

Lucifer nodded and took a step forward. "But really detective, I'm not just joking around. I am sorry for going into the station, but I do want to help. I know some people in... low places, and I could probably help you take down some of the bigger drug rings. Eve if I'm not the ideal person to have as a partner, I will do my best to actually help instead of hurt." His voice held all the seriousness a British accent could muster. "Have a nice day, Tyra." Lucifer turned back to the ocean.

Tyra turned back and looked at him and nodded, "I am sorry for my actions, you will be a great partner, it's just going to need some getting used too" Tyra said, feeling colour rising on her cheeks, Tyra turned and jogged back the way she had come, sliding her ear buds back into place

Lucifer nodded a little but gave no repsonse. Otherwise no one would ever get to leave. He watched the water for a moment longer before striding back to his car, slipping his suit jacket back on and getting in. He sat there for a moment before starting to drive back, then his phone started ringing. "Bah, what do these humans say? Don't answer phone calls while driving because you coud crash? Lets's do it!" Lucifer muttered, pickin up his phone without looking to see who it was and answering. "Who needs what now?" He asked. "Oh Lucifer, this is Ms. Walker, Chief of Police. Tyra and you have a case, please come down to the station." The chief stated, then hung up. "Greaaat." Lucifer drawled, turning down a different road and driving to the station. He parked and got out of his car, walking in and looking around.

Tyra got the phone call telling her there was a case, she quickly jogged home and changed into her working gear, she drove to the station and pulled up beside Lucifers car. Tyra stepped out of the car, walking inside, she saw Lucifer, "any idea what it is?" She asked him

Lucifer sauntered over to Tyra's desk and looked around. Where was the chief. She should give Tyra the case, right? He turned around as he heard the detective's voice. "No idea. I'm your partner, you're not mine. You see what it is." he answered, putting his hands in his pockets. "Ah, you two are here. A murder was commited at the docks, and a shipping container was stolen. Go figure it out." The chief said, giving them a file and walking away. "Hm, a shipping container?" Lucifer mused before he got a phone call. "Yes?" He asked into the phone, hearing Maize's voice. "LUCIFER. Your container was stolen." Mazikeen snapped. Lucifer tilted his head. 'The container?" He walked a couple feet away, talking in a low tone. "THE container." Mazikeen answered before hanging up. His eyes filled with dread and anger as he hung up. "New news on the case. The container that was stolen? It was mine."
