Malakai Negri - Malakai stood still. Frozen. He was so angry and so hurt. She had played with his feelings. Manipulated his emotions. He knew he'd embarrassed her, but that was no comparison to how hurt he felt. She knew he loved her. She knew how he felt about her. She knew that no one had ever wanted him before. She knew that he felt alone in this world. She knew that he was sensitive. And she still kissed him. She let him believe, even for a moment, that he had her back, that she loved him just as much as he loved her. But that wasn't true. That felt like a stab to the heart. "What do you want?" he muttered.

Camery Valatieri - Camery watched him for a moment, though her eyes fell back on the crown. She felt awful about everything, that she'd kissed, him and she knew she'd fucked up. He looked so angry. She didn't want him to look at her like that. She hadn't meant to hurt him. She wanted him to relax and enjoy himself, not run off... like, well, a coward. He'd left her there, alone infront of everyone. Still, she wanted to make sure he was alright. She wanted him to know she was there for him. "I wanted to make sure you were alright," she whispered gently, holding his crown still in her hands, staring at it. He was a king. Kings don't run away from things, especially things like this. "And I'm sorry," she whispered.

Malakai Negri - Malakai listened, but he was still angry. She manipulated him. She kissed him, she essentially non-verbally told him that she wanted him, and then told him she didn't. That really hurt from someone Kai cared about so deeply. "Why'd you do it?" he asked. Yes, he felt bad about leaving her. Yes, he shouldn'tve left, but what else was he going to do? Let everyone see him break down into a million pieces as his heart broke once again? Let everyone see him sob?

Camery Valtatieri - She looked up at him after a moment, her brows furrowed. Why had she done it? She didn't know. She was still pretty tipsy, and everything was hitting her harder than she would have realised. Her gaze drifted back down to the crown, her eyes softy following the intricate lines of the cold and silver that easily twisted together in it. "I don't know," she whispered simply. She would have asked why he kissed her back. Her peck had been playful, but he'd asked for more and she just... gave it to him. She didn't feel like she couldn't. But she knew why he'd kissed her. She knew he loved her, that he cared for her. "I didn't..." she trailed off, not knowing where she was going with it.

Malakai Negri - Malakai cocked his head. "You didn't what?" he asked, "You didn't mean it?" he suggested. He grit his teeth. He loved her. He loved her so much. She gave more to him and then took it back. "Get out," he muttered, staring a his feet. He couldn't bare to look at her. She hurt him. She hurt him so much.

Camery Valatieri - Camery shook her head at him. "No... I didn't mean to hurt you, I was so caught up in everything, and-" she paused when he cut her off, and just stared at him for a moment. "Get out?" She repeated softly, although she just nodded and put the crown and tie down. She'd tried to apologise, but she knew she'd hurt him. She hadn't meant to, but she'd still done it, just like he had hurt her. She stood up, making her way towards the door. He'd asked for a chance, and she'd given him one. She knew she had messed up. But she'd paused everything for him. She spent the whole night trying to make sure he was alright, the first time he'd ran off. The difference was that he'd made a fool of her. "I mean it, I am sorry," she whispered, although by then she was just angry. She wasn't even meant to be there, and he'd made a mockery of her.

Malakai Negri - "You played with my feelings... you knew that I loved you, you knew how I felt about not having anyone, you knew that you were the only woman I ever wanted, and you still kissed me. You handed me everything on a silver platter and then took it all away," he muttered, seething with anger, tears dripping down his face. "You still don't want me... no one wants me... I knew that. You didn't have to rub it in my face," he growled. "I know I shouldn't have left you there and embarrassed you, but what else was I going to do? Stand there and let my entire kingdom watch as my heart shatter? Let them watch their king fall apart and sob?"

Camery Valatieri - She felt her brows pinch together after a moment, her face pinching in anger. She paused at the door, turning around to look at him. "Played with your feelings?" She asked her voice starting to get snappy by then. "I've done nothing but try and protect your feelings," she muttered, stepping closer. "Since I've gotten here, I have done nothing but listen to you. Nothing but hear you beg for me, or talk about Orianna, that no one wanted you or help you plan this whole thing," she was now right infront of him, her finger landed hard on his chest, her gentle demeanor not quite so gentle anoymore. "You watched her talk down to me like a child and did nothing," her finger landed on his chest again, shoving him back a step. "You claim to love me, that you cared and you wanted to protect me, but you just did nothing but make a mockery of me," she pulled her hand away. "And I'm sorry that I hurt your feelings, but thats not how someone who cares about you reacts. You should have spoken to me," she hissed. "And you want to know why I did it? I was drunk. It's that fucking simple." she finished angerly.

Malakai Negri - Malakai looked up at her, angry with tears running rapidly down his face. "If you're going to justify yourself by saying you were drunk, you cannot be angry about me 'embarrassing' you. Cause I was drunk too," he hissed. "And what the hell difference does it make that you got a little embarrassed?! How do you think I feel!? My entire kingdom and surrounding kingdoms watched me get rejected! They saw how much rejection hurts me, how much you affect me," he started to raise his voice at her. "My weaknesses were put on display for everyone to see!" "You let me believe that you actually loved me! You let me believe that! If you really listened to anything I said, you would've known how much kissing me without you actually meaning it would hurt me!" he yelled. "You have everyone to choose from! You have every lord and prince knocking at your door! I had you! Thats it! No one else, just you!" His tone shifted to a soft mutter, showing just how hurt he was by all of this. "Yeah, I've done some things wrong, and I'm sorry I'm not perfect, I'm sorry I did those things, but you. You let my heart break in front of millions of people. You showed me just how little you cared, let me break apart in front of everyone," he muttered. "And god, I feel so stupid. I feel so stupid to think I'd ever get you back. To think I'd ever have a chance..." he muttered, fully sobbing. He turned away from her and dragging his feet back to the window, doing what he always did. Run away from his problems. He was such a coward and he knew it.

Camery Valatieri - Camery just stared at him, her cheeks flushing with anger and her face contorting in a way she didn't even know it could. "Your whole kingdom just watched you throw a temper tantrum because you didn't get what you want!" She was on the verge of yelling at him. She didn't think she'd ever been so... angry, not at anyone before. "I'm sorry I hurt your feelings, but you're a big boy and you need act like it," she hissed. "I hardly rejected you, either," she added, her brows pinching together. "Oh, your weakness? Your fucking weakness," she huffed sarcastically. "I think Malakai, that you like the idea of me. I don't think you like me at all," she muttered. Camery's eyes went hard at him. "I didn't let you believe anything!" She eventually just found herself screaming at him. Trying to be heard by him. She was sorry, and she said that. "Fuck, Malakai, you had fucking Orianna all over you and you didn't think she loved you," she yelled, her voice breaking. When he started talking again, she just rolled her eyes. "And you left me standing there! You had a chance. I'm giving you a chance right now and you're not taking it. God, Malakai, I care about you so much. But I don't love you. Not yet. If you had given me even a second, to speak you'd know that," she continued. She didn't think she'd ever screamed so loud in her entire life. Just trying to get him to listen. To hear her. When he turned away from her, it didn't help the matter in her mind. "No! Absolutley not!" She sreamed, grabbing his shirt and walking over to shut the window. "Talk to me. Like an adult, and quit running away from me!"
