Mari chuckled lightly at the boy. No, they didn't know the gender of the baby, but they could still brainstorm names... it was something she was giddier for. She'd had a couple of names on the back burner, but she'd gone off them the more she thought about them. "Hmm... no, not really," she chuckled softly before shaking her head. "I'm not very creative," she mused lightly. Really, the name was the least of her worries, but she did want to think about it rather than pulling something out of thin air when the baby got here. "Did you have anything in mind?" She asked with a cocked head. She then looked like she remembered something. "Oh, and I need to get some baby clothes," she squeaked lightly, her hand still lightly on her stomach, which was something she did quite a lot when she was thinking about the child.

Sage gave the girl a tried smile. A small one again, but it was something he supposed. "If it's a girl I'd thought about naming her Lizzie," he admitted. "But it was just an idea in the back of my mind ...another name might work better once we meet the baby," he hummed. "Other than that I haven't thought much about it," he admitted with a shrug. He gave the girl an amused look and nodded. "Well have to get a lot of things. But we have plenty of time to get what we need." It was nice to see the girl was excited for this though, and he was excited too...he was just a bit tired to get super excited and show it right about then.

Mari gave a soft smile to the boy when he mentioned the name. She recalled the name being that of his sisters... and it was sweet. "That's cute... Lizzie," she repeated as though in thought before grinning at him. "I like that, actually," she chirped lightly to the boy. She nodded in agreement to the boy when he said they had a lot to get. To be honest, the thought of spending so much money scared her, but she had more than enough in her savings, and she was excited to go shopping for baby things. "I can't wait," she babbled happily again. "What were you wanting to get up to? Just sit outside or something?"

Sage hummed and nodded before sighing and shrugging in response to the girls question. "I don't really care," he admitted. "Sleep?" He shrugged again and leaned his arms on the table, resting his head on them tiredly. They could both use some rest, if he was being honest...he'd kept her up all night too. And, well, the bright light of the sun seemed like it would just hurt his head. He wouldn't mind going outside if Mari really wanted to go outside, but he'd much rather go curl up in their room where it was dark and cozy and he had a bed to lay on and covers to wrap himself up snugly in. But he'd go wherever the girl was....he definitely didn't want to be alone.

Mari shrugged a little bit. She did want to go outside... but he was clearly having a bad day, and if staying in and going to sleep would help him, then that was what they could do. She was tired anyway... she had probably slept less than Sage over the last few nights. "We can go to sleep if that's what you'd like," she eventually sighed before going to wash her plate up. Some rest would probably be good for him anyway... and for her too. She then offered him her hand after a short while. "Come on... we can go curl up with Amber," she mused softly as they made their way back to her room.

Sage hummed and nodded, reaching to help the girl out her dishes away before shuffling after her when she started back to her room. "Yeah, that sounds nice," he hummed. He followed along next to her, holding her hand, as they walked. Amber met them at the door yowling, and sage scooped her up before crawling back up into the bed and curling up on it. "can you make sure she has good and water," he hummed to Mari after a moment. His eyes were already closing by then though so he wasn't going to get up and do it himself. Not now.

Mari wandered in behind him, about to flop down on the bed next to him before he asked about the food and water. She groaned but wandered over to the animal's food station and refiled her food and water. To be honest, the smell of the little animal's food made her nauseous, but it didn't take long for her to scoop the meat into the plate, and then went to curl up on the bed next to Sage and the kitten. She could hear the little thing crackling out a pur, which admittedly brought a small smile to her face as she reached out to pet her.

Sage was strangely comforted when he heard Amber start to pur, and shifted so his back was pressed up against Mari, and curled up to cradle the kitten close to his face and in his chest. He closed his eyes, and was admittedly out cold almost right away. There were fleeting nightmares, yes, but nothing quite as bad as the night before. His brain was just rather slow, so he didn't comprehend very much of what was happening. But he did feel safe, and comfortable, and so he was alright. He could manage...he'd done it before, and he could do it again. The only difference was, he wasn't alone now. And that was definitely an improvement.

Mari huddled into the boy, just trying to curl into his warmth... she closed her eyes and she was pretty much out flat. So this was going to be a lazy day... well, that was fine. She just wanted things to go alright, so that they got enough rest. Though, she didn't see herself waking up again during the day... not unless it was to give Sage his new meds. If they stopped his nightmares though the night, then that was good, or she thought so. One day, he'd end up hurting himself because of them, really badly, too... and she wanted to prevent that. But, for now, her sleep was nice.

Sage was more than happy to just lay around and get some rest. He was really tired...probably mostly because he was up all night, but also because his brain was just in a fog, so he wasn't up for much. The dark bedroom just seemed nice compared to going outside, which was definitely not his usual personality. But, he figured that Mari could use the rest too, and it was nice to cuddle for a day, so he supposed this wasn't all bad. And Amber seemed to enjoy the day of cuddles too, which was admittedly a slightly amusing thing to see.
