Mari curled into him a little bit more after a while, slipping her hands under the boy's shirt like she normally did... well, she did it more frequently now anyway. She was more cuddly than normal now, just finding herself wanting to be close to the boy. She slept until later that night... about ten, and by then she was practically starving. She groaned to herself before gently squeezing Sage, trying to will herself back to sleep... but by then she was certainly too hungry. "Sage," she whispered as she tried to wake the boy up... maybe some food would be good for him, too... after all, he couldn't have his meds until he'd eaten.

Sage groaned lightly when he heard the girl whisper his name and shifted slightly. Though, that was just to curl up against her more and go back to sleep. Upon her insistance though, he opened his eyes blearily to peer up at the girl with a sort of curious grunt, as if asking what she wanted before yawning. He was surprised to see how long he'd slept ...but he supposed it didn't really matter, he'd fall right back asleep anyway. He had to admit, he didn't really want to move. He was warm and comfortable, and while everything still kinda hurt, he was as comfortable as he could get while he was like ..this.

Mari smiled lightly when she heard the boys tired groan, and gave a small kind of yawn before moved to press a light kiss to his neck in a kind of playful manner before moving under his chin, just to try and wake him up a little bit. "Will you come and eat with me?" She asked quietly after a moment or two. She didn't want to say too much... she was still tired, but so was Sage, so she didn't want to bug him by begging... if he wanted to sleep she was happy to go by herself. She could grab some food for the both of them... she wasn't sure if Sage had eaten, but she wanted to make sure he'd had at least something.

Sage felt a tiny smile curve at his lips when he felt the girl press her kiss to his neck. He hummed lightly when she asked him to come eat with her ...he was cozy, and he wasn't hungry, but he supposed she didn't want to leave him alone either. Well, that was fine. He nodded after a moment with a yawn and stretched before sitting up, much to Amber's dislike. She mrrped in complaint when the cold air hit her, and sage knew exactly how she felt. But, he sort of just scooped her back up and wrapped them both up in the blanket before looking over at Mari. They could leave when she was ready.

Mari smiled softly as the boy forced himself up, and wanders along next to him as they went to the kitchen. "Are you hungry?" She asked as the boy wrapped himself up in his blanket again with the kitten. She was still tired... but food was good for everyone. She put something smaller together for the both of them... she then handed Sage a little plate. (Short I'm busy!)

(It's all good!) Sage sort of just shrugged when the girl asked him if he was hungry. He wasn't, not at all, but he figured she would make him eat something anyway. It would be good for him, he knew that...but the thought of forcing something into his stomach made his stomach roll. But even so, for Mari's sake he choked down a few bites of...whatever was on the plate. He didn't want to cause the girl any more stress or worry, and while he pushed the plate away with a sigh after having eaten only a quarter of what was on the plate. He gave the girl a rather apologetic look before resting his chin on the table with another sigh and closed his eyes as he waited for her to finish eating and they could go back to bed.

Mari watched the boy choak down what he could, but was unable to help the disappointed look on her face when he didn't eat much more, nor the slight pit in her stomach... she wanted to make sure he stayed healthy, but she felt like she was failing to do that... to make sure he was healthy and happy and safe. She felt like she couldn't do any of it, and it made her feel almost empty... like she should be doing more for him. She finished her plate before taking his and going to wash everything up. "The doctor gave you some pills to take before you sleep," she whispered to him from where she was standing. "They're meant to make rest easier for you."

Sage lifted his head slightly and opened his eyes when the girl started talking. He nodded slightly, humming. "I'll take it when we get back to the bedroom," he murmured tiredly. He could sleep easily enough, but if the pills kept all the dreams away, then he would definitely take it. "Hope you remember how much I'm supposed to take," he hummed, almost in a joking manner. He was trying to make things light, like he normally did when things got rough....but he was so tired he didn't think he was doing very well at it. He knew she was dissapointed...but he just wasn't hungry. In fact, his stomach was still rolling after having eaten. Hopefully he wouldn't throw up in his sleep. That would be ironic. When Mari was done washing dishes, he sort of just padded over to her to press against her again as they walked back to the bedroom. He sat down on the bed and looked around blearily before sighing. "Where did you put the pills," he asked, just wanting to take them and get to sleep.

Mari nodded at the boys comment, though she didn't seem to find it so amusing... mainly because it could really hurt him if he took too much. "Yes, I remember," she told him quietly. She walked back towards the room, letting the boy press against her as he so pleased... as long as it helped. All she wanted to do was help him the way he helped her. When he sat down on the bed, she nodded and went to her bedside table where she'd put the small pot, then went to get a glass of water for the boy. "Just one," she told him as she put the pot and the glass on the side. "Take it with some water, please," she huffed before going to get comfortable in bed.

Sage grunted in response to the girl's first comment. He wrinkled his nose slightly at her second, but didn't argue. He didn't really have the energy to fight with her over something small like drinking with a pill. Well, not fight...that wasn't the right word. He just didn't have the energy to be stubborn, he supposed. Either way, he stared at the pill for a moment before popping it in his mouth and taking a sip of water before setting it down on the nightstand. He sort of got himself settled, putting the blanket where Mari could get under it too, and was surprised to feel the medicine already taking affect. "Woah," he muttered, before giggling and flopping down. Well, it was definitely strong. He was out like a light ...amber nudged him, since he hadn't curled up, he was just flat on his face, but she eventually just curled up next to him and buried herself under his arm happily.
