Malakai Negri - "So I'm the baby now?! I'm the baby cause I'm sensitive?! Because I've been locked up, tortured, beaten, and starved to the brink of death. I think I have a right to be a little sensitive," he growled at her. "Yes, you did! You let me believe you loved me! Or do kisses mean nothing to you now?!" he yelled at her. "You think Orianna loves me?! Orianna loves to take me to bed, thats all she wants! You said it yourself, she found another prince to play with as soon as I left!" he screamed. "Well, maybe I'm done taking your chances! Cause I know you will never love me! You'll never love me because of who I am, what I am! My personality hasn't changed since the day you met me, you won't let yourself love me or trust me because I'm just a part of this damn kingdom!" he screamed. "I love you! I love you for who you are! I love you for what makes you, you! But you can't see me as anything but a pair of wings and black tattooes!"

Camery Valtieri - She just stared at him. He was twisting her words, making her sound... well, awful "That is not what I said!" She yelled at him. "I like that you're sensitive. What I don't like is when you run away from things that are hard. And none of that is my fualt. I have done nothing but console you," She muttered, running her hands over her face. "I came here to apologise. I knew when I kissed that I fucked up, and I apologised. You're sitting here, twisting my words and telling me how I've played with your feelings, when that couldn't be further from the truth." she muttered after a moment. She was just... tired, now. Of all of it. Camery rolled her eyes, running a hand down her face. "No, Malakai. You chose to believe that I loved you. I was drunk, and I was having a good time. You were there, and that was it," she eventually sighed. She looked back at the man, her nose turned up. "Yeah, but I'm still here. I didn't go and find someone else after you stormed off. I came to you and apologised. Fuck, Kai, I came back to you," she eventually breathed. She had come back to him. After everything, she'd come here to find him. Twice, now, she'd gone to him. Camery just snorted at him. "It's not because you're night kingdom. It's because you lied to me. I loved you so blindly. You were the first person I've ever felt like that for, and you lied. You. Lied. You fucked up, and I came to you," she eventually muttered. When he said he was done though, she held her hand up and waved him in an almost mockery. "Fine. Then I'm done giving them. I'll see you later, Malakai," she breathed after a moment, starting out the door angerly.

Malakai Negri - "So you would've kissed anyone if I wasn't there?" he countered. "I lied to you because I had to! I didn't want to! Would you rather my siblings being through torture or die instead?!" he yelled. When she turned away his everything crumbled once again. But he refused to let it show. "Fine," he muttered storming towards his window. He flung it open and jumped. Kai cried as he flew around, trying to clear his mind. An hour later, he was about a mile from the castle, on his way back. His window was in sight, maybe 100 yards away and then a piercing white pain seared through him and he started falling, falling towards the ground. On his plummet down to the ground, he spotted an arrow lodged in his wing, midnight blue blood leaking from the puncture. Before long, Kai slammed into the ground, and everything went black.

Camery Valatieri - Camery sighed softly once she'd walked out the room, her whole body starting to shake as she clocked what had just happened. She really hadn't meant to hurt him, but then he started twisting her word and... she was so angry. Adrenaline was coursing through her, putting her into a state of shock. What angered her most was that he didn't even try and understand. She knew she had hurt him, she hadn't meant to, but she had. She was trying to take accountability but that was hard when the person talking to you just made it all so much harder. Her teeth gritted together, a feeling of pity and frustration coursing through her. She had gone to him, no matter how upset she was, twice. Twice she had tried to forgive him, or make things right, and he just didn't want to let her. She couldn't quite figure out why. She wouldn't have kissed just anyone. But she wasn't dancing around with just anyone. This was Kai, and while she knew it was a mistake, she'd chosen him. It could have been anyone in there, and she'd picked him. She didn't have to do anything for him, not at all. She sighed and tried to calm herself after a moment. She'd already made the decision to leave the next day. She wasn't going to torment herself because of him. She would, though, tell his mother... she would have seen what had happened, but she just wanted her to keep a rough eye on him for a while.

Malakai Negri - Darkness surrounded Malakai. He didn't know where he was. He looked around it was just black. Nothing there. "Cam?" he called out. His own words echoed back to him. "Camery?!" he yelled, starting to panic as the words echoed back to him. Kai started running around the black void, searching for an exit, but mostly searching for her. ... It wasn't long for Kai to be found. With the guards making their rounds every two hours, Kai was found within thirty minutes of his fall, as he had fallen into the castle's gardens. After he was found, the castle seemed to erupt. Guards and maids were running around, and hushed orders were whispered quickly, flashing lights in the gardens. There was a crowd by the time the paramedics got to Kai. Everyone was watching as he was lifted up off the ground, a heap of midnight blue blood and flesh, and set onto a stretcher. Kai was rushed up to the infirmary in the castle. Malakai was stabilized by morning, but he was barely alive. He'd broken a leg, an arm, a wing, and several ribs. He was internally bleeding, this was a mess. People were up and about in the morning, getting ready to leave, but the guards by the doors refused to let anyone out. The kingdom and castle was on lockdown until Kai woke up and they caught the person who shot Kai out of the sky.

Camery Valatieri - Camery wandered back to her room, trying to get some sleep. She was exhusted. The night had been so busy, so chaotic and god she was just hurting. Everything was hurting. She woke up the next day to some commotion outside... some royals, arguing with guards about being let out. She raised a brow, obviously curious about the whole thing, and looked over to Jack who was still half asleep in his chair. "Jack?" She asked gently, wandering over to him and tapping his shoulder. He looked up at her, and shook his head slightly. "The king was found shot down last night. The whole place is on lockdown. No one comes in, no one goes out," he stated simply. Camerys eyes widened slightly, and quickly ran to get changed. "Is the king okay?" She asked hurriedly. The man shook his head. "He didn't look too good last night, at least that's what I heard," he muttered softly to her. She changed quickly and made her way out of the room, hoping to go and find him... make sure he was alright. She was surprised to find that nearly everyone was still here. Orianna, the prince she was talking too, all the major parties of each kingdom. Her breath hitched slightly, but eventually found her way to the infirmary, hoping to at least see the king.

Malakai was laying on a bed in the infirmary in a pale blue hospital gown. His arm and leg were both in casts, his right wing in bandages, and his left wing in a splint. He lay there unconscious, bruises all over his body and face, purple and swollen. Kais body was connected to multiple different machines keeping him alive. Multiple IVs, a heart monitor, and a ventilator to keep him breathing. He was a mess. A really big mess. ... In his dream world, Kai ran around the black void, screaming for help, for Camery, but he found nothing but the black void he was trapped in. He eventually fell to his knees and sobbed. He couldn't find a way out, couldn't find a way back to her.

Camery rushed down to the infernery, where his most her was just walk ring out. "Is he alright?" She asked quickly, clearly... concerned. She sighed and patted the girls shoulder. "He will be." It was such a simple answer, but her jaw dropped when she peaked behind her. She looked back at his mother, though. "Can I go in?" She asked slowly. She didn't know what the woman was thinking. Hell, she probably thought Camery herself had done this to her chunt. Camery, though, just stared up at urge woman, begging and pleading her softly to please let her see him.

Malakais mother hesitated. She didn't know who tried to kill her son, and she didn't trust Camery too much, but she didn't think she would've done that to Kai. She saw the way they looked at each other, the way they cared for each other. His mom nodded, "Yes, but he's in really bad shape..." she warned her.

Camery nodded wo the woman, although eventually wandered onto the room. He was in really bad shape... but he was alive and stable. She sighed softly, her fingers slipped onto the side table, grabbing a small pen and going to write in big letteres Camery <3 on his left arm. He might not wake up, but at least he'd known she'd been there. Well, if he wanted to know anything about it all now. (Sorry, Side acc!) Edited at January 16, 2025 03:33 PM by Bambury
