"You didn't startle me." Zeph answered with a snort. "You scared me half to death." He joked, grinning. As she looked at him like he was crazy, he proceeded to look indignant. "Well of course. In your language, you shine like the sun and have the face of an angel. In my language, you are prettier than a Cobra and have the face of a fox." He scoffed, using his own terms of what he thought was beautiful and cunning. "Plus I need to practice compliments- I'm not the best at them." He added with another snort, glad that she was taking care of the pan and he didn't have to go anywhere near it. After they were done, he dug in, super happy that he was actually eating. Something good. Perfectly made eggs. "Can you cook them like this every time!?" He exclaimed with a chuckle. The eggs were gone in a couple seconds, in quite a fast pace. "Ready to go creep around some deadly cyclops?" He asked with a smile, his dark blue eyes sparkling as he stood, his mind already thinking about what he had to grab.

"Yeah, yeah- alright, drama queen." Tempe mocked, chuckling as he continued. "It sounds like in your language, you're insulting me- but I do like the one I understand." She teased, smiling as he continued. "That's for sure. You could definitely use some practice in that department." She giggled, finishing her food and then setting her dishes in the sink. "I can try. No promises though- lightning never strikes the same place twice, right?" She joked, stretching out and turning to him. She blew out a breath and shook out her hands. "Whenever you are." She nodded, glancing upstairs.

"It's true! I had a hear attack." Zephyr frowned jokingly, trying to command his face not to break. "In my language, sun is death and horrifying ugliness and angels are horrific creatures of fairytales, so comparing you to a Cobra, sleek, majestic, and independant, and a fox, cunning, sly, and beautiful, are most definitely compliments." He huffed, defending his amazing detailed explanation of what he thought of her. And that wasn't the half of it, in any way shape or form. "That's exactly why I said it. I do need practice, and I will practice whenever I can. You can be my test subject." He smiled sweetly, then let out a small chuckle. "Pff, I'm sure you can cook up a few eggs if you manage to make the sky shake when you don't like someone." he snorted, recalling how he had been able to hear thunder rumbling when they had first met. "Okay, sounds good to me. Let's go now." He commented, striding back to the bedroom. He then grabbed his bag of weapons, slinging it over his shoulder, almost stabbing himself in the ribs with a dagger, and walking back out to the main room. After that, he waited for Tempe, ready for when she was.
