Flo giggled "yes. Very lucky!" She looked at the ceiling. "I'm starved" she groaned with a smile "hurry" she teased, drawing out the word

Sage just rolled his eyes in response to her comment, turning the corner and wandering into the kitchen. "Maybe I should just drop you and leave you here," he teased in response to her playful pestering

Flo squealed "No!" She pulled herself closer to Sage. "What to eat?" She asked with a bright smile

He snickered and set her down in a chair before moving to look at their options with a hum. "Waffles, breakfast sausage, or fruit," he noted

"Waffles!!!" She squealed happily, holding his hand with both of hers and shaking it a little. "I love waffles!" Flo grinned up at him. She finally felt like herself again, not the stuck up snob she pretended to be at school- or what was left of it. The thought brought a frown to her face but she forced the smile back up and the thoughts from her head. No thoughts. Just Sage and Florida.

Sage gave her a grin and a nod, making sure she was comfortable before moving to pop some of the waffles onto the oven and start cooking them

Florida shifted on the chair, scooting back slightly in the process. "Thank you, again, for patching me up." She watched him cook for a minute before something popped into her head. "So..." She narrowed her eyes, calculating how long they had been in the hospital. "Around two weeks until the next full moon?" She asked

Sage chuckled softly and nodded with a grin. "Well, I do like you, believe it or not," he joked. "Couldn't have you permanently broken, now could I? Wouldn't be much fun in bed," he added with a wink, clearly messing around. Though, at her comment about the full moon, he groaned and nodded, handing her a plate of now done waffles. "Around then, yeah," he grumbled. He really didn't like morphing, and she knew that. But it is what it is.

Florida doubled over with laughter, her ungarded happiness making her grip her stomach after a few seconds. "I'd be fun in bed whether I'm injured or not" I protested though she struggled to get words out as soon as he winked, making her laugh so hard tears pricked in her eyes. She wiped at her eyes, taking the waffles and biting into one. "Thanks" she breathed, gently rubbing Sage's back. "Look. I'll be healed enough to help you from the bed to the bathroom right?"
