(Loll yeah my phone decided to spaz out for a second) Sage rolled his eyes at Mari's tease and snorted. "Love you too," he chuckled lightly, shaking his head slightly. He knew she thought he was handsome, and whatever else she thought, and he always felt his chest swell when she complimented him like that. He shrugged and hummed with a nod at her next comment. "I know, I know," he hummed. "I just worry you'll need something and can't get up," he groaned. (Bit short I'm out lol)

The girl chuckled softly to him before shaking her head and going to peck a light kiss on his lips before settling down next to him. "I do love you," she reassured with a bit of a chirp before letting out a soft sigh. "I haven't a clue why, but I do," she trailed off a little bit before looking down at the baby, who was sleeping happily... "I love this guy too," she chirped as she gently stroked the top of his head, where his hair was soft a velvety... he was so sweet. He only really cried when he was hungry, which was nice... she was prepared for a very squealy baby. "I was worried he was going to be all wiggly... but he's actually quite chilled out, unlike his father who always seemed to always think about worse case scenario," She hummed, looking back up to Sage with a teasing tone. "Don't worry... If I need something, I can manage," she promised softly.

Sage hummed lightly, his usual grin crossing his face in response to the girls kiss. "I'm not sure I know why either, and you've tried to tell me why on multiple occasions," he chuckled. He nodded and looked down at Silas, who was slowly waking up by then and looking about curiously. "He's amazing," he murmured softly. "I never thought I'd have a kid of my own...I've raised a few, sure, but it's...not the same." He chuckled lightly at her comment about his worrying and rolled his eyes. "It just shows I love you," he snorted. "You should he grateful," he teased. Then he sighed and nodded. "I know," he hummed.

Mari chuckled lightly before shaking her head. "There's no way to tell you - there's just so much!" she mused lightly to the boy. She looked down to the child who cooed gently as he looked up at the two with the most curious expression on her face. Mari's smile grew as she ducked her head to gently tickle the child belly. "Morning baby," she hummed happily before pecking the top of his head and looking to Sage with a smile. "He really is... and I never thought so either," she admitted gently. She then rolled her eyes at him. "I was just telling you how grateful I am for you!" she mused gently.

Sage chuckled lightly at Mari's comments and then reached over to press a kiss to the baby's cheek before blowing a raspberry, resulting in quite the delighted giggle and coo from Silas. He couldn't help but let out a delighted laugh when the baby reached his arms out to grab at his face and scooped him up happily. "My Happy little man," he hummed lightly before looking over at Mari and chuckling again, at her joke. "Well, it's mutual," he hummed lightly. "I'd be lost without you. Both of you, now."

Mari smiled gently as she watched Sage and Silas, her heart thudding against her chest as she watched the two of them... her little family. They were perfect, and she couldn't believe they were actually really hers. She loved them more than she could ever say. She watched him scoop the child up and rested her head on his shoulder lightly, grinning at the childs little smile. He was so, so adorable... she couldn't love him anymore if she tried. "Look at that gummy little smile," she hummed happily as she went to tickle the child side, resulting in a happy coo from him. She then looked to Sage again with a soft smile. "It's a good thing you've got us, then, hm?" she noted happily. "I do wonder what we'd be doing right now if we had just never met," she told him with a small pout.

Sage chuckled and looked over at Mari with a delighted grin when she reached over to tickle Silas. "He's a cute little man," he hummed. "Kinda makes me wonder what I looked like at this age," he chuckled. "I was probably screaming at life," he noted in a rather amused manner. He hummed lightly and nodded at Mari's next comments and rested his head gently on hers, cradling Silas on his chest. "Well, I'd either be hiding in the ward or at the barn...or dead," he hummed. "I certainly wouldn't be this happy." He shrugged slightly and looked down at Silas again. "But I suppose it's no use thinking about it. I do have you guys and that's all that really matters," he mused lightly. He was by no means perfectly happy, but he was much better than what life would be like if he hadn't met her.

Mari smiled at the boy before looking down at Silas with a small hum. "I bet you looked like him," she hummed gently with a bit of a smile. "I think his eyes are going to go amber, like yours... I certainly hope so," she chirped lightly before turning to press a light kiss to the base of Sage's neck. She'd love the child no matter what, though... she didn't care what he looked like, but he certainly had more of Sage in her than anything, and she was glad for it. She looked up at him after a moment before shrugging. "I probably would have gone back to the tavern... the doctor would have had no patients if it weren't for you," she mused lightly before rolling her eyes. "Yeah, I suppose you do have us," she joked lightly.

Sage hummed in thought and then shrugged. "Maybe. I was probably more of a butt than him though," he admitted with a chuckle. He peered down at Silas' wide eyes and hummed in thought. "Looks like they will," he hummed. He felt a goofy grin spread across his face in response to the girls kiss and chuckled lightly. "Well, I suppose I do," he repeated with a chuckle. He pointed to the ring nestled firmly on her finger, eyes glinting rather mischievously. "You're stuck with me now," he giggled, turning to press a kiss to the top of her head. "There's no turning back," he chirped. Silas had looked back and forth between them curiously as they talked, letting out a quiet babble. Sage chuckled and turned to the baby. "Oh, is that so," he cooed, and in response Silas babbled louder, reaching for his face again, a wide grin spread over his chubby little face.

Mari smiled lightly at the boy and wrapped an arm around his side with a small chuckle. "I bet you were a sweet kid - you just had to grow up quickly, is all," she hummed lightly. He had to take after someone... and so far, this baby was fairly chilled out. She glanced down at the baby with a smile, then glanced at her ring with a smile. "I'm not going to get rid of him, am I?" she asked the baby before looking at Sage. "I can't be too upset about that," she hummed happily before pecking his lips. She looked at the child at his little babble before chuckling. "I think he agrees with you," The girl mused lightly.
