Sage shrugged and chuckled. "I guess it's a mystery," he hummed in a rather amused tone. He rolled his eyes when she asked the baby if she was going to get rid of him and felt his normal goofy smile grow on his face in response to her kiss. He laughed lightly when the baby babbled again and hummed with a nod. "Apparently," he mused. "He's a smart little one," he chirped. "Aren't you, Silas," he cooed at the baby, Silas giving him a very funny grin and another happy babble, which was definitely a nice response....and sage didn't think he could fall any more in love with the little guy.

Mari smiled softly to the boy and the child's happy coo, feeling her whole body lighten up. He was such a happy baby... she hoped they could keep it that way. It had only been a couple of days, but he seemed to be growing into himself a little bit. "He's gonna be so clever," she chirped happily. "If he takes after you, we're gonna be lucky," she hummed lightly. She rested her head against Sage's shoulder as she watched the boy with a bit of a smile. "I think we're very lucky anyway," she sighed as she closed her eyes. (Do you want to do a little time skip? Maybe a few weeks?)

(I was just going to suggest that xD) Sage chuckled lightly at the girl's comments and cuddled up happily. "Well I'm definitely very lucky for the two of you," he murmured lightly, looking forward to spending some time with his new little family. A few weeks went by the same way....happy and calm. Silas proved to be a very happy baby, and a rather quiet one at that. He almost never cried...when he was hungry he sort of just cooed for a while unless he was just really really hungry. Mari had healed well, and they'd taken to exchanging the baby off so one or the other could get some rest or whatever for a bit. He'd gone back to work recently, and so had Mari, so they'd worked at different times so Silas was always with one of them. Sage was going to introduce Silas to Anya once Mari left that day. He'd go over once she'd dropped Att off.

Mari had to say, the last few weeks had been pleasant. She still had a few dizzy spells, but she was walking and working just fine... though she had to say, being away from Silas was complete agony. She hated it, she really did. But she saw him in the evenings, and it was more special when she got to see him. She was just happy she wasn't in any more pain now. She woke up early that morning, as it was her turn to leave the child be. She got herself ready before going over to the cot to press a kiss on Silas's temple. She then went back to Sage to wake him up with a soft kiss. "I'll see you later?" She asked quietly.

Sage have Mari a sleepy smile when she kissed him and nodded with a light hum. "Yep," he chirped, though it was a rather tired chirp. "We'll be here." He leaned up to kiss her forehead before she left, and once she was gone he settled back down. He sort of lay around until he heard Silas start to move about and coo in the way they now knew meant he was hungry. He got up and grabbed a bottle, padding over to the crib and scooping the baby up. He was already bigger than he'd first been, which Sage took that to be a good sign. The doctor had done some checkups, and Silas was always healthy. He let the baby suckle until he was full and then pattered around doing nothing until he thought Anya would be back from dropping Att off. He wandered down to her room after a bit, knocking on the door excitedly. He hadn't shown off his little one yet, and he was definitely excited to.

Mari smiled softly when she got a reply and pecked his lips once more before bidding him goodbye before sighing and hesitantly wandering out. She hated the idea of leaving the two... she'd gotten used to having the both of them next to her all the time, and it was difficult to wrap her head around leaving them... but she did have to work... she could tell the queen all about her new baby until she was sick of her. Anya had just arrived from dropping little Att off when she heard the boy knocking on the door. She called for him to come in, having just flopped on the bed. The child had started becoming a bit more difficult recently... she'd had the whole screaming and shouting, and she didn't know what to do about it... it was so draining, and you could see it on her face.

Sage practically hopped into the room and flopped down next to Anya, chuckling slightly. "Rough day," he asked, figuring Att had given her a bit of a run for her money. He did hope Att learned to be a bit less stubborn, but he really didn't know why the boy wouldn't listen to Anya. Well, he did, but not all the time. "Want one that doesn't scream and cry," he asked with amusement, dangling Silas up over the girl so his chubby baby face was above hers. Silas gave Anya his usual gummy grin and coo, but sage pulled him back to his chest before he drooled on Anyas face. That probably wouldn't make the girl like the baby very much.

The girl nodded softly to the boy before covering her face with her hand. "You need to deal with him more - he doesn't like me very much," she complained softly before shaking her head gently. She didn't really know what to do with him... she didn't get angry or anything, but it was just... frustrating for her. She looked over to Sage after a moment, her expression brightening when she set her eyes on the child. "Oh, look at him!" She chirped at his little smile. She'd heard that the child had been born, but she hadn't seen him yet. "Whats his name?" She asked lightly as she rolled onto her side to look at him.

Sage hummed lightly and shrugged. "You gotta give and take with him," he told the girl. Att had a.... personality, to put it nicely. But if you played it right, then he was a great kid, he really was. He grinned when Anya responded to Silas happily, and you could tell he was quite proud of the boy. "Silas," he chirped. "It's Mari's grandfathers name," he hummed. "We'd decided on Lizzie for a girl and either Silas or Theodore for a boy...Theodore was Mari's father," he explained happily. Silas, meanwhile, had become enthralled with watching Anya, his big, wide eyes watching both her and Sage's every move. His eyes had started to brown out by then too, but we're still mostly blue as of then. But they would definitely turn into a shade of brown.

Anya hummed to the boy and rolled her eyes a little bit. She was trying... but he was a lot easier with Sage around... mainly because the little boy thought the world of him. She then smiled lightly at the boy. "It suits him," she chirped happily. She thought back to when Att was little, and he seemed happy about... well, everything. This baby seemed to be on the ball about everything, though. She wasn't exactly best friends with Maria - but Sage liked her, and she supposed she might as well ask to keep the peace. "Is Maria alright then? Back to work, I assume," she hummed before sitting up, watching the baby as his eyes flickered between the two as they spoke. He was sweet... and he looked just like Sage. She remembered him telling her years ago that he'd always wanted a family... and he was certainly very proud of the one he had.
