Sage chuckled lightly at the child, and grabbed the baskets, hopping after Mari happily. He waved to Edith and Xander, giving Ginger and pet on the head as he went past the older cat. It reminded him of Amber...he did feel as though he'd been ignoring her more lately, and he felt a bit bad about it. She still slept with them though, and of course he was normally there u less he was working, but she definitely didn't get as many cuddles as she used to. He hummed lightly at Mari's comma out seeing the doctor and nodded. "I've been meaning to talk to him," he hummed lightly. "So that'll be fine," he chirped.

Mari nodded and walked along next to the boy, making faces at the baby as she went, copping little laughs and coos from the child. She was certainly getting strange looks from people that she was passing, but she didn't seem to care all too much. She was just having fun with Silas. She then cast an odd look at Sage. "About what? You talk to him nearly every day," she mused lightly to the boy as she blew raspberries at Silas again, clearly more than thrilled to just spend a bit of time with the baby. And Sage, of course.

Sage chuckled lightly as he watched his fiancee interact with his baby, clearly just as happy with everything as Mari was. He shrugged in response to her question and hummed lightly. "I want to ask him if there's a different medicine I can take to sleep better but still wake up for Att," he lied. He felt a bit guilty about it, but he didn't want to talk about the real reason. He didn't want her to feel bad about it. It was really just a precaution...and he had to admit those small moments where he knew he could start something, but didn't want to because the girl had gotten nervous before, were rather difficult. So, something to...calm him down a bit would help. But she didn't have to feel bad about it.

Mari just pouted at him before rolling her eyes. "I suppose that makes sense. Is the one you're on not working or are you just not using it," she chuckled lightly to him, though it was difficult to take her seriously when she was making faces at the child. They soon got back, and just in time too because it'd started to cloud over, and a light drizzle soon started to fall. She looked out the windows as rain started to batter them, and a wind whistled though the castle. "Thank god," she hummed lightly, glad to be back inside. She looked to Sage and handed him to Silas. "Would you be alright taking him? I'll go drop everything off," she told him lightly. "I'll meet you over in the ward in a bit," she chirped.

Sage chuckled and shook his head. "It works too well," he laughed. "If I take it I'm out for the rest of the night and won't wake up to feed him. I want something I can take and still care for my child," he noted with amusement. He wrinkled his nose and nodded when Mari seemed relieved they were inside. He definitely didn't want Silas getting wet and then sick. "Yeah, sure," he chirped, taking the baby and handing Mari the baskets before heading off to the doctor's. He popped his head in and greeted the old man happily before quickly explaining his situation. The doctor nodded and handed him a pill bottle, and sage tore the label off and shoved it in his pocket so Mari wouldn't see it and wonder.

Mari stopped by the room to dump all of their things off before spotting little Amber, who was staring at her from where she was curled up on their pillows. Mari glanced at the kitten before sighing and going to give the little thing a fuss before forcing herself to get up and padded down to towards the ward. When she spotted little Silas on Sages knee, all she could do was grin at him. "Hey baby," she chirped as she wandered over to press a kiss to the baby's head then pecked Sage on the lips. "Everything alright?" She asked gently before sitting down next to him, looking up at the doctor with a light smile.

Sage and the doctor talked for a bit, and the doctor fussed over Silas for a while. Sage perked up when Mari came into the room, happy to see her. He knew they'd only been apart for like ten minutes at most, but the girl just seemed to make the room light up and feel just a bit cozier and happier. And that was definitely nice. He hummed lightly and nodded happily in response to her question. "He said Silas seems healthy," he informed the girl. "and you're just as bouncy as ever so you're fine," he teased the girl lightly before wrapping his arm around her and leaning in to rest his head on her shoulder. The doctor grunted and nodded. "That pretty much sums it all up," he hummed.

Mari gave a happy hum to the boy before rolling her eyes at his tease. She was so, so happy... maybe it'd just been a good day. She always liked going to visit the rest of her family, anyway. When Sage went to lean his head against her shoulder, she smiled and sighed softly. "And you're all good too? Got everything?" She asked lightly, she then looked to the doctor will a bit of a smile. "You're sure? There's nothing else we can do?" She asked quietly. She just wanted to do everything right for their baby... if anything went wrong, it might not end very well. He was fine now, but she was just being cautious. Very cautious... she didn't know what she'd do if anything happens to Silas.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded in response to Mari's question. "Yep, I'm all good," he chirped. The doctor shrugged and grunted, sitting back in his chair. "Well, the boys perfectly healthy," he told Mari. "The only thing that's any better for him than what you're doing is feeding him naturally rather than with formula," he mused. "But like I said, there's really no need for that, he's perfectly fine as is," he informed the girl. He shrugged and chuckled slightly. "You two are doing a fine job, try not to worry so much."

Mari gave a bit of a hum to the man before shrugging. It probably would be better for such a young baby to be fed naturally, but she didn't think she was healthy enough herself to give him everything he needed... but they could try it, she supposed. If he didn't take then they could just go back to formula. "We can try it, I suppose," she hummed as they looked down at the baby, who was now looking around the room with his now pretty much browned out eyes. They were pretty bright, too... like Sages. He really was a mini version of him. "I don't want there to be a chance than anything can go wrong," she told the doctor a little bit sheepishly.
