The chef nodded, muttering something to a cook as he darted off. The silence settled, warm, heavy, comforting. Gale crunched on the salad loudly, setting the bowl down and softly applauding. "Five star performance between you two," The man mused with a laugh, finishing the last few bites. |

Gale dropped the act at the sight of her look, raising his hands in mock surrender. "Aye, calm down, just a joke.." |

"How rude. Borderline treason to insult me in such a way" She said, pretending to be offended |

Gale snorted a laugh, chuckling. "I've heard treason loads of times in my lifetime." Though, he didn't understand she was pretending as he walked to her and immediately softened. "I'm sorry." |

Gale did a double take, raising a brow. "That was an act? How in fuck's sake do you act so good?" |

He considered for a moment, agreeing. "Fair enough, I guess i've gotten my fair share of experience, getting women to think I was into them before robbing them in plain sight and getting the hell out of there---until I took you, of course." |
