Sage chuckled lightly at her comments and then hummed lightly. "Maybe you have," he mused. They were his world ...and they'd certainly taken over his life. And she'd taken over him....all of him....so she very well had done that, he supposed. "oh, please," he snorted. "When did you ever doubt that I love you," he hummed in a rather joking manner. He nodded in response to her next comments and smiled softly. "He is," he hummed. Then he titled his head slightly, imagining the boy grown up. "yeah," he murmured softly. He probably wouldn't be around to see the boy at the age where he would find a girl or make a family, and he wished he'd make it that far. But even here in the castle...those years in the slums just didn't allow for that. There were so many health issues laying in wait to take him out. "We absolutely did," he chirped.

Mari smiled lightly to him, and amused chuckle escaping her. "We certainly have. All I have to do is look at you a certain way and I get whatever I want," she mused lightly, pecking his lips playfully. At his next comment, all she could do is grin. "Well you never know," she mused. "You might be secretly plotting my demise! I need confirmation," she told him with a playful hum. She gazed up at him for a a moment, her smile still lingering, but it had faded slightly. Really, they were lucky Sage was still with them... she wasn't healthy, but she could recover from everything she'd been through. It was stuck with Sage... he'd been sick for so long. That thought sent a sharp pang of dread through her... he might not be here for very long. Maybe a couple of years, but that was it. Maybe he'd gained a few more by being up here... you couldn't be sure. But it just meant she wanted to spend as much time as she could with him. She stared up at him before leaning up to press a slightly deeper kiss to his lips, lingering for a moment before leaning back a bit. "We both love you so much... me and Silas. We're gonna have a good life together," she hummed gently.

Sage chuckled and shrugged, giving the girl a slightly sheepish grin. "Just count it as taking over my world," he teased the girl lightly. He raised an eyebrow slightly at her next comment, a slightly playful rumble growing in his throat. "Confirmation? What kind of confirmation are you looking for," he mused, really just joking around. He did wish the girl would start something, but he assumed that wasn't likely to happen. He was trying to keep the purr out of his voice, but it was rather hard. He supposed it was a good thing he'd taken a pill before this...otherwise he wasn't sure he'd have achieved that. He was a bit surprised at her deeper kiss, but he supposed they'd both been thinking the same things...or similar things, at least. But he kissed her back all the same, an ache growing in his chest. A good one, in response to her comment. "Well, I love you two just as much," he murmured softly. "Of course we will."

Mari smiled up at him before sighing. "Good... that's the only world I want," she hummed. It was a bit cheesy, sure, but it was true all the same. He was all she wanted. She gave a playful smirk at his comment before pouting in a fake sort of thoughtfulness. "I'm thinking there's s fun way to to confirmed just how much you love me," she whispered in a more sultry tone. Yes, she was still a bit nervy... but she trusted Sage, and it wasn't him she was nervous of. A few things were just stuck in her head after the birth... but she did need to get over it. "What are you thinking?" She purred lightly as she leaned into him a little bit, her head slightly cocked.

Sage hummed lightly and cocked his head when he picked up on the girls sultry tone. He felt a wide smirk cross his face and he stuck his face close to the girl's, eyes lighting up. "Why don't you dry off and find out," he hummed in a rather daring tone. Maybe he was jumping right into things, but he'd waited a long time for the girl to feel ready, and if she was starting something....well, he certainly wasn't going to shut her down. He was rather excited now, and he did hope that this time she didn't pull away.

Mari grinned to him before pecking his jaw and nodding softly. She jumped out of the shower and grabbed a towel to dry herself off... the room was still steamy, so it was plenty warm for now... her heart was already thumping. It had been a little while since they'd done anything... so she was, understandably a little bit nervous. She didn't want to get herself hurt, but on the same hand, it'd been weeks. They'd be fine. She chuckled a towel to Sage after a few moments, still grinning uncontrollably. She was about excited as she was scared... so it was alright, she supposed. Just as long as she didn't somehow get pregnant again.

Sage noted the girl's enthusiasm with a smile, glad that she seemed to be more excited than nervous this time. He turned the water off and slid out after the girl, catching the towel she chucked at him with a slight chuckle. He was getting more and more excited the longer this went on...he supposed even the pill could only do so much, but that was alright. He was certainly glad it hadn't made him turn down the girl's offer or not enjoy this as much. Because he'd certainly missed this kind of thing. She wouldn't want to get pregnant...and that was understandable. He didn't want to see her go through something like that again either. He dried off quickly, and once he noticed Mari had dried off as well, he darted at her and threw her over his shoulder, heading over to the bed before gently dropping her on it and flopping down next to her, a dumb grin stretched across his face. He had been playing with her, a little bit...carrying her over and all the rest...but it was fun, and he hadn't been able to do that in a while.

Mari couldn't help her slight yelp when the boy darted over to her and carried her over to the bed... she was laughing pretty much the whole time. She tried to keep herself quiet so she didn't wake the baby, but her delighted chuckles were challenging to hold onto. When he flopped down next to her, she quickly moved to wrap a leg over his side, so that she was half straddling him. Her hands supported her, resting on his lower abdomen before leaning forwards to press a few playful kisses to his lips Honestly, she wouldn't have minded if they'd swapped positions or tried something new. She just wanted this to be fun... she never really got many days off, so they could make the most of it before he went down to the yard.

Sage was laughing too, as they moved over to the bed and for a moment after they'd landed on the covers. It was nice to see Mari so delighted about it...he'd definitely enjoyed it, and he supposed he'd have to pick her up and dump her at other times too. It could be playful at any time, it didn't necessarily have to have this meaning to it. He could feel his smile grow when she tugged him closer and wrapped her leg around his side. He'd missed this...her touch in this manner. It was a silly thought, really, but he was keenly aware of the warmth of her skin at his waist and on his abdomen. He kissed her back happily when she made the move. He might try and take over later, but for now, he liked being here, and she liked being where she was at...so they could do this for a bit too.

Mari smiled softly into their kiss, her hands running up his body and resting on his shoulders. The happy kind of sound that came from her throat proved how excited she was. Nervous, yes, but more excited than anything. She'd missed his hands on her skin, and her whole body seemed to light on fire just from one look. The warmth that came from him while they were like this... it was nice. Her body dropped a little bit closer to his, getting a bit more comfortable on him as her kisses got a little bit deeper... she'd let this go on for however long he wanted. He'd been patient with her... so she could give him a little bit back.
