Elara sorta shrugged when he thanked her, her just thinking it was a essential. "Eh, I also hope I don't have to, but i'll be here." She promised, heading outside to get a fire going.

Sage just nodded in response to her comment, watching her go and sighing once she was out of earshot. "I'm getting confused by people," he mumbled to the wolf laying next to him, but moved to get himself ready for the day anyway.

Elara got a fire going and stoked it, getting a deer atop of it.

Sage wandered outside after maybe half an hour or so, using carts for support as he walked. He could mostly walk by himself but he was still a little shaky so he was glad the animal was there just in case. He moved to grab the deers hide though, starting the tanning process happily.

Elara smiled at the progress he was making, eyes beaming as he did before flipping the deer.

Sage had settled himself on the ground comfortably, honestly just glad to be out and working. It wasn't much, he knew, but they'd need blankets, coats, hats, gloves ...all sorts of things. Even things like window coverings would help with the cold, and help with privacy in case people wandered by at some point. That wasn't a concern, but even so they had a lot they needed to do, so he wanted to get working quickly.

Elara eventually pulled the deer off the rack, Liz and Varys already waiting. "Sage, food's ready" She called, unsure of where he was and making a plate for herself, Liz, giving Varys his chunk, and making a plate for Sage.

Sage had lost himself in his work, though glanced up when he heard Elara voice. "Coming," he called, finishing up the small bit he was on and then washing his hands off before wandering over to the fire and taking his plate happily.

|

|
"Hungry?" Elara asked, watching him come over happily as she ate.
|

|
Sage nodded with a sort of chuckle as he took the plate she handed him, settling down next to her. "I guess I got busy and forgot breakfast," he admitted, rather amused by it all. So he was hungry ...now that he thought about it he was really hungry. So he dug in happily.
