Elara tilted her head from side to side for a moment, thinking. "I have my ways, Nate, to be exact. He'll get us one and we can meet up, I can take it and bring it back here, no questions asked." She suggested, thinking more about the idea.

Sage thought about it for a minute, nodding slowly. "It would have to be able to handle winter outside," he noted. "I don't think I would be able to build an entire shed for it before the cold weather hits," he added. It was a lot of work, building an indoor area....even a small one.

"I've already been through a three mile radius around this place, there's caves, good caves, not too far. Maybe a five minute walk, at maximum." She said, trying to find solutions.

Sage hummed in thought before nodding. "We could set up a cave for it, so it has a shelter and a small area around it where it could frame and stuff," he noted. "We could get one of those fences where the boards just slide into each other and then screw in....it wouldn't be much work that way and we could focus on preparing for winter," he suggested.

Elara thought about it for a moment, agreeing. "Hm, yeah. Seems like it would work plus it woldn't be too much, maybe a hour or hour and a half to set it up." she said, shifting Varys off her as, well, wolves are heavy, okay? Anyways, "Good thinking, I wouldn't of thought of that off the bat." The woman complemented, tossing her gaze over to him, her eyes radiating the beams of sunlight trickling in through the trees.

Sage nodded, a light tint coloring his cheeks in response to her compliment. It was stupid, how easily a compliment could make him feel so ...light inside. He just wasn't used to it, he supposed. "Yeah," he hummed in agreement to the last part though. It would take less time.

Once Elara took all their plates she went and examined the hides he'd tanned, surprised at the quality. "Those hides are near perfect, if not perfect. Thanks for all the help, may not seem like much but in the long run, it is." She complemented, clapping him on the shoulder as she went by to go get some berries from nearby bushes.

Sage had moved to scoop Liz into his lap once she crawled over to him, sort of talking in response to her babble and such. He threw Elara a surprised glance when she complimented him, but nodded with a shrug. He felt a grin growing on his face though....it felt good to be wanted. Appreciated. "I've had to rely on those skills for years," he pointed out with a chuckle.

"Yeah, true. Still useful, though." She said, heading off to go sharpen knives so she could start drying out some meat.

Sage nodded, spending a little bit more time with Liz before he decided to put himself to use and make some boxes they could store dried food and other supplies in. They were made out of branches he could find nearby the house, but they'd be useful and it was something he could do sitting down by the fire with Liz.
