Josephine reined in Tobias, the gelding snorting and dancing happily as he slowed his pace back down. Her hair was whipped by the wind and she looked happier than she had ever looked since they met yesterday. "That was fun!" She giggled, brushing a hand through her curls.

Caleb, laughing alongside her, nodded. "That was." He agreed, smiling and chuckling again

Josephine smiled, continuing to guide them through the woods. "There's a stream with a really pretty waterfall a ways up ahead. I figured we could take a break there for a little while before heading back." She knew they couldn't spend all day riding, but it was nice to have company.

Josephine led them along for a while more before eventually veering off down a path to their right. It was a short ride and eventually the stream came into view, as well as the waterfall. "Here we are," she smiled, dismounting from the tall gelding.

Caleb gazed at the waterfall, hopping off of his mare and letting her graze freely

Josephine did the same for Tobias, walking over to the waters edge. The water flowed a pretty blue color and fish could be seen swimming about. "Pretty, isn't it? There's even a cave behind the waterfall, you just have to swim pretty well to get to it."

"Let's do it" He encouraged, offering his hand to her

Josephine smiled faintly, kicking off her boots and socks before taking his hand. "Alright. This is my favorite place where I go when I don't want my parents to find me. I trust you won't sell me out someday," she told him, somewhat teasing.

"Why would I?" He asked, smiling and leading her into the water. He watched her carefully, making sure she didn't slip or stumble as they wadded into the water
