Elara nodded in agreement, laughing lightly for a moment as Varys flopped down onto his side. "They're usually better, only some cases worse." She said softly, looking over at him.

Sage nodded along, sort of shifting to lay down on his back with a tired sigh. "Animals have a sort of innocent humans haven't ever found," he noted with a shrug. The laws of nature were ahead, but they also held a peace....one he'd never felt in a crowded area.

"Yeah, and I doubt we'll find it anytime soon." She noted quietly, seeing him lay back.

Sage nodded, moving his eyes from the toddler and wolf to look up at the sky, watching the clouds blow lazily past. "Maybe we will at some point out here," he mused.

|
"Out here for sure, the kingdom is still centuries away." Elara mused lightly, glancing up at the sky for a moment before continuing to watch the two.

Sage chuckled with a nod. Then he frowned. "I do wish Amy wasn't just...hanging in the air like this," he admitted. "She's doing it on purpose...she's always known how to get in my head," he added. He was constantly scared...and that was an understatement. Not knowing when she'd come, and she would come, was terrifying, but it was even worse knowing she'd have a plan. And it would be ruthless.

Elara laughed lightly, silencing when she saw him frown. She listened, now having a frown on her face as well. "I promise you, i'll protect you the best I can. It's what friends are for," Elara said. "they help eachother." She refrenced the escape from the kingdomm when she spoke, it being the best day of her life.

Sage hummed softly and nodded. "I know. But she's planning something," he pointed out, sitting up again. "She won't just come barging in alone. She'll have backup. Weapons. The whole thing." She was dangerous ...and her friends were dangerous too. She'd target him of course, but if she knew about Liz she'd waste no time hurting her to hurt him. Same with Elara, and the thought of her getting hurt for him was ...not great.

Elara remained quiet for a moment, thinking of a plan just in case. "Didn't think of that," She said quietly, still thinking. "Incase it does happen, which, it may, a possibilty could've been we build a pen for that horse by the cabin so you hop on it and get out of here while me and Varys take care of her. But then the backup could be scattered out and in bushes or up in trees, which could hop onto the horse, then get you." The woman noted, letting out a small sigh. "I don't know, i'll figure something out. Eventually, that is."

Sage nodded sullenly as she tried to think through it. "She'll come with a foolproof plan," he murmured. "We'll just have to be ready." Then he wrinkled his nose. "Besides, I'm not running away and letting you and varys fight on my account alone. Shell kill you both," he noted bluntly. He did want Liz out of the situation, but he wasn't leaving any of them alone.
