Mari hummed quietly to him, a bit of a chuckle escaping her. "I like little things, Sage," she told him with a small smile. "And for birthdays and Christmas, I just want you to myself for a little while... we can get up to some... new, things... perhaps that should be a part of a Christmas present," she told him with a hum, a mischievous smile across her face... "And some Turkish delights would be wonderful," she chucked lightly to the boy. "Same goes on for those random days," she chuckled lightly. She then wrinkled her nose at him with a bit of a chuckle. "You know, Sage, you didn't have to be there while I was giving birth if it grossed you out so much," she told him, rolling her eyes with a bit of a chuckle.

Sage chuckled lightly at her first comment and then hummed lightly at her other comment, a slight smirk crossing his face. "We don't have to wait for birthdays or Christmas to try out anything new...we do have a whole week to ourselves right now," he mused in a rather mischievous voice. Though, her comment about Turkish delights got a chuckle from him. "I've never had one," he admitted. "I'll have to take your word that they're good." Then he gave the girl a grin and shrugged. "Oh, I didn't particularly care what I saw...I've seen worse," he hummed lightly. "Others may not think the same way, especially not in the castle," he noted with amusement. "Besides, I should be there," he chuckled. "I'm not gonna sit outside and listen to you scream in pain for hours not doing anything," he snorted.

Mari looked as though she was in thought for a moment. "Yeah, well, that's up to you. You'd best be getting creative for the few days we have left," she giggled happily. She gasped at his comment about the sweets and turned over to hover over him, her legs still tightly entwined with his. "When we get back, I'm dragging you down to the market and we're gonna get a whole allsorts box of them. And, I will force you to eat them," she told him, amusement laced through her voice. "If you don't care, then don't say me giving birth to your son was gross!" She squeaked to him, a bit of a laugh escaping her. "You put him in there," she huffed with a pout.

Sage chuckled lightly at her comment and gave her a rather mischievous look. "I expect give and take," he giggled, really just joking around ....he knew the girl liked being in top, just like he liked being on the bottom, and they gave and took already. He hummed lightly when she flipped him over, shrugging slightly. "we can do that here too," he noted lightly. He laughed lightly at her other comments, a playful glint growing in his eye. "You wanted me in there to put him there," he chirped lightly, patting her gently.

Mari hummed lightly before giving a giggle. "Alright, alright... you give and I'll take," she joked lightly to him before pecking his lips. "I just personally think you should come up with something soonish... then maybe I can plan," she chuckled lightly to him. She liked everything they did, literally everything. Not much could really put her off. She smiled lightly to him and chuckle lightly. "There's a market here? Well, then perhaps we should go out, I'll grab the sweets and you grab whatever else," she mused lightly to him. She wrinkled her nose at his next comment, though. "No, Sage, baby, I really didn't," she mused before shaking her head. "But I certainly can't be upset he's here now," she then added happily.

Sage chuckled lightly at her joke, his same old smile forming on his face at her peck before shrugging. "Well, I can hardly do that if you stay on top of me all day long," he teased her lightly. "We can stop by eventually," he promised the girl lightly. "I'm sure there's something out there you'd want besides candy too...spoil yourself a little bit," he huffed lightly. Then he shrugged. "well, you wanted intimacy....it comes with a risk," he chirped happily. She'd wanted that, and she loved Silas just as much as he did, so he could tease.

Mari leaned down to peck his lips before flopping down next to him with a sigh. "I don't really want to wait," she complained. She had a busy mind. She needed to constantly be doing... something. And right then going shopping for random bits and bobs sounded pretty amazing. "Can I spoil you?" She asked with a cocked head. She had to ask... mainly because she didn't want to surprise him with something that he just didn't want. She could afford to spoil him as much as her heard desired... because really, that was all she wanted to do. Spoil him. She gave a soft hum to him before groaning. "No point giving me that talk now, Sagey," she mused lightly. "And you knew about it too," she added softly to him.

Sage hummed lightly and chuckled with a shrug. "Well, there's still a couple hours left of daylight, if you want to let me go out some clothes on," he noted with amusement. He didn't mind going shopping...not if that's what she really wanted to do. He cocked his head slightly at her question and hummed lightly. "If you want." He didn't want her spending a lot of money on him...he was just happy to have her as his wife. But he supposed that since she was still bed ridden around his birthday, she'd still want to do something for him occasionally. He knew he certainly wanted to spoil her ....she probably felt the same way. Besides, he did like it. He chuckled lightly at her other comment and shrugged. "no argument to that," he hummed lightly.

Mari rolled her eyes a little bit at him and gave a smile. "No, I was just expecting you to run around naked so you know," she teased before letting him up and reaching to grab a dress to slip over her head. She gave a happy grin when he sad that she could get him something.... maybe just a little trinket to remember their honeymoon. "Go get dressed," she told him with a smile. She hopped up and out of bed to get before grabbing some cash. "Let's go," she chirped happily to him with a happy smile, her cheeks pink with happiness.

Sage chuckled lightly and rolled his eyes at the girl's joke, but hauled himself out of bed and padded over to their bag to put on some clothes. He gave the girl a grin and nod when she said she was ready, reaching over to take her hand as they wandered out of the castle and down to the market. It was a rather big one, but not crowded or noisy or anything like the one closer to their home. But even so, there were plenty of small shops that he assumed Mari would like to take a look at. That was fine...they had a couple hours left of daylight after all, and they as well do something other than lay in bed during that time, especially if they wanted to sleep at all that night.
