Mari skipped along next to him happily before humming gently to him when they finally got to the market. She wasn't expecting to see such a big market. It was nice. She liked it... all of it. It was fun and exciting, and kinda loud, but to be honest, she didn't stop to see if it was all safe. Her face lit up and moved to peck his lips lightly. "Can we meet back here in half an hour?" She didn't want to be out for long... but it was still exciting. When he agreed, she grinned lightly to him and darted off to grab some Turkish delights... much to her surprise, there was a whole stand... they were expensive, but she could afford pretty much one of each. They deserved a treat, anyway. She then got a little trinket to Sage... it was a knife with a light blue handle and had the name of the place engraved onto it. She'd gotten a vase too... she wasn't sure what they'd put in it, but she liked it so she bought it. Soon enough, she'd finished off and made her way back towards the spot she'd left him.

Sage readily agreed when she asked if they could meet up back there soon....if the royal family would shop here, it had to be safe. Besides, he did want to surprise her with a little something. So, he wandered about until he found a little craft store, and he grinned before snagging a small canvas and a frame to fit it. He sketched out a small something...a picture of their wedding. The two of them kissing...it seemed like a good something to give to the girl. It was nice and cheap too, so he wasn't spending too much. The frame was really the most expensive part. He grabbed a small pearl necklace for the girl too, on the way back, since he thought she'd rather like them.

Mari sat happily for a little while before getting comfortable where they were. To be honest, she didn't really know what kind of things Sage would like... he never said he wanted anything, so she'd just gotten whatever she thought he might like. A knife. She'd have to get more creative, though. She sat for a little while before looking in the little bag she'd gotten, her legs swinging back and forth as she waited for the boy to arrive so they could get back to the house. It'd become a bit of a safe heaven for them... it was pretty, and comfortable, and she just felt... special while she was there... it was nice.

Sage saw the girl sitting there, and a mischievous smile formed on his face at the sight. He suck up behind her and wrapped his arms around her with a giggle, pecking her neck lightly as he did so. "you ready to go," he asked with a light chuckle, after everything had calmed down a bit. He stepped back so she could get up, then when she agreed, he took her hand happily and wandered along next to the girl until they got back to the room, where he set the bag down at the bedside table and flopped down onto the bed again happily.

Mari yelped to him when she felt his arms around him and gave a bit of a chuckle, leaning into him with a smile. "Yep," she chirped happily. She followed him back and put the bag on the side before moving to peck his cheek, perching just on his hips with one leg on each side and moving to wrap around his side with a happy smile. "I got sweets," she told him with a bit of a chuckle, a childish grin across her face at the idea of her little treats. She moved to grab the box, though still kept her legs around him. She smiled lightly at him, then continued to get the box then got the small, flour-covered jelly sweet for him. "Try that!" She giggled lightly as she held it to him.

Sage chuckled lightly when the girl perched on his hips, taking the treat from her happily when she handed it to him. He nibbled at it curiousky, and was rather surprised at the flavor ...it really was as good as Mari had made it seem. He hummed lightly and gave the girl a grin, then swallowed and pointed to his own bag. "Your stuffs in there," he hummed lightly. "You're sitting on me so you're gonna have to grab it," he chuckled, popping the rest of the sweet in his mouth happily.

Mari grinned when he seemed to like it. It made her light up a bit. She knew they were a choired taste, but she really did like them... she'd always used to get them from her father as a child, and they made her happy to have them now. She was certainly glad her husband liked them too. She leaned in to peck his lips once he'd finished and grinned happily. "I'm glad you like them!" She grinned childishly. When he said he'd gotten her something, she raised her brows slightly and moved to get the bag, handing it to him curiously. "You didn't need to get me anything," she told him lightly.

Sage chuckled lightly and gave the girl a grin in response to her kiss and then shrugged when she said he hadn't had to get her anything. "Well, I saw some stuff I could resist getting for you," he chirped. Then he waved the bag away with a grin. "It's yours not mine," he chuckled lightly. "If you want it you'll have to open it yourself," he noted with amusement. He really was excited for her to open it....it was almost unheard of for that kind of jewelry to be so cheap ....he supposed he was getting rather lucky at finding good jewelry for cheap to give to the girl, which he definitely wasn't going to complain about. But he was glad to spoil her a bit anyway.

Mari hummed to him before giving a smile. She grabbed the bag from him and moved to grab the bag full of things for him. "Well, I have some things for you, too," she chirped happily to him. "Well, something to remember about our trip," she told him lightly before grabbing the small box from the bag and handing it to him. She looked at him curiously before sighing gently and going into the bag he'd handed her, and took a small velvet box from the bag and cocked her head. She furrowed her brows at him and then moved to gently open it before looking back up to him with a bit of a smile. "It's gorgeous, Sage," she told him gently before moving to peck his lips again. "But how much did it cost?" She asked quietly.

Sage cocked his head slightly and nodded. She'd asked if she could spoil him a bit, so he wasn't all too surprised she'd gotten something. But, he hadn't expected more than some sweets. That was fine....if she thought they could spend some money on something, he was alright with it. It was their honeymoon, after all...they could stand to get some trinkets. He felt his usual grin form on his face when she pecked his lips again, glad that she liked it so much. He chuckled slightly and patted her leg lightly with his free hand. "Not much. It was in a small shop where everything was cheap," he chirped, rather proud at his find. He'd seen the same necklace in stores, and it was definitely more than they would be willing to spend on anything but, like, furniture or the house itself or something like that. But this one was cheap, so he couldn't help but snatch it for the girl. He peered curiously into the bag she'd handed him, and chuckled when he pulled the knife out. She did know him well, he supposed...it was a cute little thing. He set it all to the side and reached his arms up with a grin. "I can't kiss you thanks from down here," he half complained, though his face was bright and eyes sparkling. He'd had a good time, and they'd no doubt have a good time for the rest of the day and week, too.
