Mari nodded gently to him. She loved it, she did... she was a bit concerned about the money, but they could afford to spend a bit on each other. Their wedding hadn't been too expensive, and the holiday was free, so it was nice. They could afford to spoil each other a bit. She moved to peck his lips again with a happy smile before going to hook the necklace around her neck. She chuckled at his comment about her not being able to kiss her, so slid off his side a little bit and landed with a huff on her back. "But you like it?" She asked with a cocked head.

Sage rolled over once the girl had flopped to the side so he could tug her closer and peck her on the lips again happily. "Of course I do," he hummed lightly. "It's very...me-ish," he chuckled. Was me-ish even a word? He really had no idea, but he supposed it was a word now, since he was using it. Whatever...it was a nice gift, and a thoughtful one, and they could afford to spoil each other a little bit. They were still spending much less than they could have for this whole thing and the wedding. After laying there for a bit, he hummed lightly. "I'm gonna go shower," he hummed. She was welcome to join...but if she'd rather do something else, he really didn't mind. Of course, he liked it when she chose to join him, but if she'd rather do something else, that was fine with him. It just meant a shorter shower so he could get back to her faster. Of course, if they decided to get intimate again, it was rather futile, but he should shower at some point, he supposed.

Mari hummed lightly to him and gave a happy smile. She was happy to be around him, and that he liked her gift... She wasn't very good at gifts in the best of days, so she could only be thrilled that he enjoyed it. When he said he wanted to go shower, she smiled lightly and hopped up. "Well, I'm afraid I'm coming with you... it's not often we get such a big shower, huh?" She asked lightly before following him into the bathroom. It was getting chilly again, so a warm shower sounded... well, very, very nice. Especially with Sage.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded in response to her comment, hauling himself up and off the bed, walking round it and taking her hand as they walked into the bathroom. It was definitely much bigger than their one in their room, but it was kind of nice either way. Though, he assumed they'd stay close to each other anyway.

Mari padded into the shower to quickly turn the battery on to warm up, but much to her surprise, it was boiling immediately. She couldn't stop her childish giggle before stripping off her clothes and wandering off to stand in the shower, which was boiling as steam leaned off it. She let out a happy sigh as the hot water ran over her, soaking her hair in it for a little bit before leaning against the water with a soft sigh.

Sage got undressed quickly, especially since Mari seemed to be in there before he could even reach over to unbutton his shirt. He chuckled slightly and slipped into the shower after a moment, pleasantly surprised at the steam and nice warm water. He seemed to get wet even though he hadn't stepped under the water yet, though he did wet himself since the water was big enough for the both of them to get wet under. And, well....it did feel nice.

Mari stood under the water for a little while as she waited for Sage... it'd been a hot few moments now, so she was happy just to chill out in the shower for a bit. When Sage finally came in, she was thrilled to see that she didn't even need to move for him to get under the stream of water. It was huge... it was nice. There was actually decent pressure, too. She let out a soft breath before leaning back on him, her head resting gently back on his shoulders. She smiled gently to him before grabbing some soap she'd put earlier and pouring it into her hands. She then gestured to him to turn around, an amused look across her face

Sage grinned over at the girl when she leaned against him and then rolled his eyes with a chuckle when she told him to turn around, but did as she asked anyway. They both knew he didn't really care what she did...besides, they had all week. But, it did feel nice when she scrubbed the soap into his hair, and he did like the shoulder rubs she occasionally gave him. Those were always nice, even if he wasn't sure or anything. But then again, anytime she touched him, even if it was just a quick hug....well, he liked it. He supposed his childhood had at least made him take nothing for granted. Which, he supposed, was a rather good thing.

Mari hummed softly and reached up to run her hands through his hair, a happy kind of coo escaping her as she did so. She then gently ran her arms down his shoulders and back, going to grab some more soap and gently scrubbing away at his back before asking him to spin back around. She looked up at him with wide eyes, just looking happy... she supposed this was the first time she'd been able to relax for a long, long while... she'd gotten that youthfulness back fairly quickly since they'd gotten a break from, well, everything. She rinsed his hair before starting swiftly on his chest and torso.

Sage was more than happy to let the girl scrub him down. He tilted his head back and closed his eyes when she washed his hair, definitely happy to stand there and let her nails run along his scalp...it was definitely a nice feeling. He turned around when she asked him to happily, grinning back at the girl, his own face mirroring hers. He supposed he still had the tendency to look and act young, since he always had to be so responsible before. But he could have some fun when he got the chance, too.
