Maxine let out a gentle purr "That's great..." She cooed happily "But I know it can't all be good... If this makes my nerves stand on end I don't know that I want to know what pain is gonna feel like..." She admitted with a small chuckle "I'm glad Charlie isn't the only half demon anymore..." She admitted though she feared that maybe down the road that would put a strain on hers and Sage's relationship with their daughter... Would she be upset and blame them? Would she be angry with Sage because of what he was? So many questions in her head that she wouldn't know the answers to for years to come. After that day a few weeks went by and Charlie had grown even more... And with her growth Max's abilities did too... She found that like Sage said she was good at healing... But her other ability had grown quite powerful... Her power of manifestation was getting more and more real... The more she practiced the more solid the creatures she made became... She'd even managed to manifest a huge beautiful pair of dragon wings onto her back and use them... Only for a few moments but it was overall incredible. Today she came home on another weekend off and smiled as she leaned over the couch looking at Sage "Alright... It's your turn for your night off..." She cooed "Go have some fun." She smiled "No training nothing... Just go have some fun." She smiled.

Sage looked up from where he was sitting on the couch and smiled up at her. "I'll be back by midnight," he promised. He was definitely more of a night owl, which was why he was going out later. He would honestly just go hunt or wander through the woods alone. That's something he enjoyed...the nature. He'll didn't exactly have trees and grass and flowers and deers and rabbits and all the other stuff in there. He kissed Max and Charlie goodbye before sweeping out the door.

Maxine smiled "Okay love you have fun!" She chirped happily kissing his cheek before she went in to get Charlie from her crib and play with her for a bit. So sorry for the delay again.)

(it's all good lol) Sage trotted along happily and jogged into the woods where he felt more at ease. He loved the house, and the town, but the woods would always really just seem peaceful to him. Although, with a highly possible demon on demon war coming up, nowhere was really considered peaceful or safe. He slowed to a walk and slipped through the trees quietly, listening and smelling.

Sorry again smh I have not felt super good last couple of days and yesterday my eyes were so wonky smh) Travis gave a small smirk sigh as he dipped his beer on a bench in the park he was quiet and relaxed his eyes drifting closed. Like Sage Travis had gotten a few hours off from parenting... He gave a small smile as he looked at the pictures of his two year old on his phone he couldn't help it despite having a night out he certainly missed his little copper-haired boy.

(it's all good!) Sage didn't really know where he was heading, he was just..running around like he used to. Out in the woods, on the street, wherever. He was enjoying his time out, though without his family it was pretty quiet out there. It was nice, but also odd. Oh well, he could go wander around for a while and screw around, cause some trouble like he used to.

Travis had stood up and began his walk back home when he heard something odd... "Hello?!" He called hesitantly glancing around "Is someone there?" He asked worriedly.

Sage heard a voice from where he was climbing up in a tree. He popped his head down, swinging upside down to see another young-ish man. "Probably just me," he chuckled. He wasn't sure how he would react - the whole emo/punk look tended to shoo people away.

Travis jumped and stumbled backward nearly spilling his beer "Woah! Where the hell did you come from!?" He yelped looking at this odd bat man "And why are you in that tree?" He asked partially debatiing on weather or not to toss his beer aside.

Sage blinked slowly. "Uh, I came from the tree? And because I was climbing it?" He grinned over at the guy, hoping he wouldn't run away but also slightly amused by his reaction. "Gotta live a little bit, man."
