She cocked her head at him before pouting curiously. "You can guess, can you? Read minds?" She asked with a bit of a laugh. "You know what they do to witches?" She giggled lightly to him. Her blush got a bit brighter and laughed softly. "I'm not sure anyone would approve of me walking around naked anyway," she added with a mused laugh, her eyes bright. "Why ever not in public, Sage?" She asked with a hum. Of course, she never joked actually do anything like that... but it certainly was fun to tease about it. She waded into the water, a soft sigh escaping her as she flopped back to float.

Sage chuckled lightly and waded out to let himself stand along next to the girl with an amused hum. "I'm not sure they'd consider me much of a witch," he chuckled lightly. Then he shook his head. "Could you imagine what your mother would say if you did that," he laughed, shaking his head slightly. "Or the rest of your family for that matter." He let himself sink under the water for a moment before popping up next to the girl again, shaking out his hair before just letting himself paddle lightly alongside wherever the girl floated.

Mari chuckled softly to him, gently gabbing his arm as he wandered towards her. "But you don't know that.... you might be a witch!" She mused, eyes bright as she teased, though she soon closed them and relaxed in the as the waves gently moved her along the top of them. She then snapped them open at his next comment. "I'd just tell them it was your idea," she snickered cheekily. "Then I'll let them say what they think," she then added, her grin snatching her face over, stretching from ear to ear. She'd never actually do that - for a multitude of different reasons, but all she could do was giggle at the idea.

Sage hummed lightly and gave the girl a grin. "Well, if I am, then I'll definitely be giving you someone to help you push out any other children," he giggled lightly. He gasped in mock offense at her next comment, and chuckled with a shake of his head. "I think they'd rip my head off if you told them that," he hummed in a rather amused manner. "Then you'd have nobody to talk to, besides the baby who only babbles," he joked lightly. "And Amber." Edited at May 21, 2023 02:18 PM by NightClan

Mari gave a kind of sigh of relief at his comment, spreading her limbs out so she was kind of like a starfish. "Oh, please do. I won't tell anyone that you're a witch if you promise to make it not hurt as much," she mused to him with a bit of a laugh. She couldn't help her kind of a laugh at his next comment. "They absolutely would chew your head off. It's alright, though. I'll be able to see some of you left in Silas. Except I'm gonna raise him not to be a creep," she then added with a bit of a laugh.

Sage chuckled lightly and spread his hands open in a apologetic manner. "Unfortunately for you I can't help with that very much," he chuckled. He did wish he could help her out, but that was the doctor's job, and he sort of just figured it would be best to let him take care of it. He chuckled at her comment about him getting his head chewed off and then rolled his eyes. "well then, let me just go get myself killed at least having some fun," he joked lightly. "If I'm gonna die I'm gonna do it having fun, not hiding from your mother in a cupboard," he giggled lightly.

Mark snickered at him before shaking her head. "Oh, Sage, I think it's sweet that you think it's my mother you have to worry about," she giggled lightly before shaking her head. "It's about whether or not Anthony turns you into wood pellets or not that's the issue. My mother would just laugh," she mused, moving a little bit so that she was floating a bit closer to him. She looked curious before cocking her head. "... Having... Fun?" She mused before rolling her eyes, another laugh escaping her. "Geez, Sage. I know my family can be a bit much, but they wouldn't kill you!" She mused lightly.

Sage chuckled lightly and snorted. "Have you seen your mother mad? She's scary," he laughed lightly. "I can defend myself against Anthony sending a punch or two my way, but your mom's a different story," he chuckled lightly. The woman really was scary when she got mad...even to him. He supposed that was just a mom super power of sorts, which was a rather amusing thought. He laughed at her comment and grinned. "They might if I actually did make you walk around naked," he chuckled lightly. He'd grown to like her family though....and he supposed now they were his family too, which an odd but not unwelcome thought.

"No, she's not!" She hummed to him. She loved that woman whole heartedly, and she'd certainly put her life on the line for him... but on the same hand.... she could be terrifying, and Mari knew that even if she didn't want to admit that. "She's a wonderful woman!" She mused lightly. "If you think she's scary, you should have met my father - oh, you would have loved him, Sage!" She told him with a soft smile. They would have gotten along, she was sure if it. He was excitable and happy and always so bubbly and friendly to everyone he'd met... she was sure the man would have liked Sage, too. She then chuckled to him happily. "I think if you made me do anything you'd be in trouble with them," she mused lightly. "Especially walking around naked."

Sage chuckled lightly and shrugged. "All mom's are scary sometimes," he grumbled. "I definitely don't want to see you mad," he added with a slight chuckle. He was really joking around, but also it was kinda true. He really didn't want to see her get mad, especially not at him. He hummed lightly when Mari said he'd have gotten along with her father...he did wish he could have met the man. He'd heard stories about him, and it seemed so odd that he could miss someone hed never met. He chuckled at her next comment and nodded, giving the girl a grin. "Its better to let you do you and ask for some cuddles now and then," he joked lightly.
